Automotive Discussion / Engine ticks
« on: March 20, 2016, 11:13:45 PM »
Bought a brand new subaru.  After 1,000 miles, the engine starts to tick. I don't like it.  Is this normal for the new car?

It sounds like this video

« on: March 03, 2016, 12:50:06 PM »
But Donald Trump makes it even clearer.  At least the GOP establish tries to hide their racism.  Trump throws it out in the open.  This is why minority who votes for republicans are like blacks joining KKK.

It's a paradox but it is.

I think I got a very easy life but that makes me suffer.  I don't know what to do with all my free time.  And it's driving me crazy.

Automotive Discussion / Driving car with no oil
« on: December 13, 2015, 03:03:21 PM »
I didn't check the oil level and keep driving my car.  The oil pressure light didn't come off but when I was less than 20 miles from home, the engine light went on and the cruise light linked.  When I got home, I checked the oil level and it was empty.  I did notice that the car didn't accelerate as quickly as it used when speeding over 40 mph.  I'm afraid my engine has been damaged.  I pour four qt of oil into the car but the acceleration still feels sluggish.

Time for a new car?

My parents have had these policies for a long time.  The problem is the premium is high and the benefits is little.  The question is if they cancel the policies, will they be able to get the cash value out?  Or are they trapped?

Got myself a cat.  She greets me when I wake up and when I come home. She sits in my lap when I watch TV.  Glad I didn't get a lot.  A cat is easy to care for.  They are Almost as easy to care for as a fish or plant.

« on: February 12, 2015, 05:17:09 PM »
why does my car smells funny when I drive it through eight inch of snow?  Is it burning something?  Or leaking?

Normal driving it seems fine.  It's an AWD.

Automotive Discussion / Replaced my 1997 Impreza with a 2007 Outback
« on: February 02, 2015, 10:23:42 AM »
Love the comfort of the 2007 outback.  I could drive 2 hours without taking a break.  The impreza was killing me after an hour on the road.  And the cargo space is huge.  I could haul junks.  Plus, it doesn't use any more gas than my impreza.  I don't like it feeling like a truck.  That's all. I'm happy with the switch.  Now I can drive long distance to visit girls.  No more pain of driving. :)

Sanford & Son
Good times

I like these two shows.  They were mad in the 70s when Mr Miyaki was still in his late 20s or early 30s.

you can be funny without being dirty.
