Title: Did yall mn people heard about that record breaking lake trout?
Post by: DuMa on March 02, 2014, 07:20:20 PM
I can understand if it breaks the previous record by a few inches or pounds but to beat it by a mile, I'm like wow.  If there is one like that then I am sure there are many more out there.

read the story for fun

That's crazy!  I don't know whether to fillet it or mount it!  Congrats to that guy.  He is one lucky dude.

cot dayam, another record came from my redneck hometown of Louisiana.  When I was just a brat, we would be catching a stringer of these 50lbers catfish and as a kid, the fight was very good but a pain to drag it to the truck.  Did I mention that by the following morning, homeboy was still breathing in the freezer?  ha  :2funny:

I think big fishes should be saved...

Well if they are going to die, might as well keep them and eat and mount them I guess..

But if they are able to live... just weight them real quick and take a picture..and let them go...

That's just me though...
