Don't know if people still ride like this but it reminds me of back in the day. Just thought I'd share. O0

not my style

Damn, that's a big ass group!
I know each and every street they ride on too. Surprised they didn't get busted while driving up Lake Drive in Shorewood. That's rich white folks part of town.

Old farts always got something funny to say. hahaa

Yea, been up that part many times. They're always cops there so I was surprised they made it through without any problems. This summer there were cops on feet there & on bikes, but usually when you ride like this you don't care. They'll only pull one of you & cite you while the rest just ride off.

Those are probably the rich White folks' kids. You know the, 'I don't care if I get busted, crashed, hurt someone else, or get locked up, my rich daddy's got my back' type...
-
^ actually that is incorrect. The rich part of town is by the lake front & a lot of people ride/cruise through there. I know I do all the time, its a great place to ride.
-
^ I actually have not been to North Oaks, just a few times by Bald Eagle Lake.
-
^ no doubt I need to find other places to cruise cause it gets repetitive. I'll have to give North Oaks a try next time. I usually just do the 694 to 494 back to 94 circle. I love the high speed runs.
-
^ gotta try that out.. thanks for the tip! O0
-
^ I have to raise it back up. The rear is too soft while the front is stiff. It corners ok, but could use an improvement. I just put a steering damper on right before fall... shakes a bit when the front comes up, but the damper fixed that.
-
^ the original plan was the stretch it, but after riding my buddies stretched gixxer for a while it got boring. I'm debating about just selling the R1 & picking up a 916 Duc. As a kid I always liked this bike & they're cheap now.
-
Are you going to drop any lines on the front forks? How many clicks "up" will you go on the rear?
The rear is set all the way down & the front is about inch & a half to 2 inches lower on the forks.
-
^ you sir are correct! Awesome for straights, but a death wish for knee grinding.

i do in the north ketlle moraine state forest... no cops, but just gotta watch out for animals. :)

sin....are you the guy parting out the v6 mr2 on dtown? I'm assuming it is because of the sportmaxx wheels in your
signature. I've seen that lexus around holiday in north saint paul whilst on my bike.
-
^ I am... it sold like the next day. The car got rear ended when my buddy took it out to get maintenance done. Some old lady plowed into him at full speed. :-[ Just been too lazy to update the sig. ;D
