what is an average price for matresses? Im talking queen +, innerspring, pillow top/cushion ones

go to IKEA....after a few years and workouts on that mattress - just toss it out.
i have a memory foam one with frame etc....around $500.

It all depends on how much you're willing to spend and quality wise.
After looking at many beds, we've settled with the tempurpedic.

$300-400 max. for a queen size bed that I have purchased in the past......... Next bed maybe a tempurpedic, sleep number, etc. just need to test them out 1st.

Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY the SLEEP NUMBER if you haven't bought it yet. >:D. I should know. I own one. Not worth the money and the issue that comes with this bed.
I have experience Tempurpedic as well. My favorite bed so far but just too expensive. There are so many lesser brand names out there now that you can buy to substitute for Tempurpedic but you have to check that the quaility is on par with Tempurpedic. You'll be surprise to find some that are decently good for less.
