It was down to the C5, Supra and Z for me...I eliminated the Z because it only has 5-speed. Both the C5 and Supra have a 6-speed manual gearbox but I've already owned 2 Supras by that time so I chose the C5..Stock photos of the two Supra gens I've owned in the 80s:
