is getting pretty real
getting pretty hot here in wisconsin
usually i can go with the fan
but now the AC is usually always up too
hear me out
you will still get to the places where you are going
probably not the freedom that you are use too
but the good thing is
these bullet train will get you there faster than ever
environment friendly.
you can schedule all your ride, think UBER
might have to share with a stranger but whatever
no more 2 hours traffic stuck in LA

We will need more public transit to accommodate the large amounts of people who still needs to move around. You didn't solve the ozone issue. You just make it more difficult for the common person to travel from point a to b.

a day late and a dollar short as usual as some people have been doing public transportation for years so it could work for some depending on their situation.
now if you leech by living in "mommy's basement" and defraud the poor's public resources then you may not even need a car.
and also there's no such things as "free" as someone still has to pay for it i.e., tax payers but I don't expect someone that has no shame stealing from the poor's public resource to comprehend that..

Try taking the Greyhound bus. 3 hours from my place to Reno takes 5 hours. That bus needs to go to every city that has their bus depot just to drop off and pick up passengers.

Hmmm...it's not impossible to live by the beach or lake. I live two blocks from the beach, parents comes over all the time to fish at the pier. They just store their fishing equipment in my garage, then haul their fishing equipment on a wagon down to the pier whenever they visit.

So that is a lot of driving. If you got rid of cars, that only means, response time will be delayed, services will have a drop, it will take longer to get to places, Which counters what the purpose of the system is for. It will lead to the increase in hospital beds and cost more money for taxpayers.

The problem that climate change tools like hmgrock conveniently omits is that planes, trains, ships and them 18-wheelers emit a lot of pollutants into the air. But oh no, what will hmrock do if he can't order from AMAZON because AMAZON can't exist without these transporters of goods?
Oh I have another solution. Why not just raise the price of cars and the fees and maintenances associated with owning one? Oh, because then only the 1% can drive and what about the poor? (Except that maybe if only 1% was driving then that would decrease climate change). The socialist solution is to MAKE EVERYBODY POOR. That way, NOBODY will own a car. Driving your own car = faster arrival time.
Eliminating cars doesn't necessarily less pollution. 20 cars can make less pollution than 1 bus. How? Those 20 cars are on the road for only 5 mins each, whereas the bus is driving almost non stop for the majority of the day.
