When I was around 24 to 28, I ghosted several girls/women, ranging from 22 to 28 years of age; 1 korean, 1 Chinese, 1 Philipino, 1 white, 1 Viet, and 3 Hmong girls.

The only one I truly regret ghosting is a Hmong girl from the West area. She was 23 at the time and I was just a bit older than her. She was decent looking; slim, somewhat curvy. Very good personality; both modern and traditional in her. And a nice heart; caring, thoughtful. Never had a boyfriend, until me(?), as she was waiting for a fairytale to occur. But we never even officially “went out.” Just sorted hung out and talked alot. And I never “did anything of that sort” to her. I could have, but I didn't. She would have been the perfect wife had I not been who I am... I was a picky person back then and she was a tad bit on the shorter side. Back then I was thinking if I had kids, I want them to be taller than me. So yes, that shallow point was the obstacle... If I was just looking to fool around then I would have and could have, but I know it would break her heart and spirit if I had done that only to tell her there’s no future for us. And so I just walked away. Didn’t answer her phone calls. Didn’t reply to her texts. Didn’t write back to her emails... That was years ago (before there was Facebook) and it still haunts me whenever I think back to it. Good thing is I live quite a distance away so chances of us running into one another is unlikely.

Raising hand. Yes, guilty here.

Why I did it, and I did a few, was because,

1) I don’t know how to tell them that I don’t like them enough to stay. Seeing or hearing the hurt in them makes me very uncomfortable. When I was a late teenager I told 2-3 girls this already and the disappointment in them really left a mark on me. Back then I’m the type of guy who doesn’t want to see any one’s feelings hurt. And I would try to rescue them, maybe out of pity(?), I’m not sure, and thus betraying my real feelings, and ultimately only to regret it.

2) When I see them hurt by my rejection, I feel sorry for them,,, And some of them know how to make me feel terrible, know how to talk me into something I don’t really want to do,,, What worries me is that they will be able to convince me to stay! So it’s better not to even talk to them and just walk away,,, Sort of like those high pressure sales people on the phone. Talk to them long enough and you end up buying something you really didn’t want to. So better to just hang up and walk away.

Don't know why I bothered logging on to Pebhmong. Too many uneducated Hmong who don't know sh.it what they are talking about and depend on me to educate them first.

How are we supposed to have any insightful convos on PH when many of you have not even done the reading? Now I know what Literature teachers feel like when the class shows up unprepared to discuss the assigned reading.

I'm out.

Yah, throw a weak punch and run before the returning fire gets you. Easily seen tactic.

Why are you so threatened by Hmong Mormons opening their own booth at tournaments? I could care less if 50 more denominations emerge. We are all put to the task of finding the truth. Nobody will find it for you. The Good Shepherd knows His sheep and His sheep knows him.

Not sure why you wouldnt be threatened by mormons, especially if you believe your brand is the correct path. Many other non mormons are indeed threatened and critical of them, as evidenced by a thread in this forum,,,, unless youre a mromon then that would answer it.

Um...duh...The Reformation.

And what about the reformation?

To my knowledge all the european states existing today pretty much already existed then during the reformation. None of them (none that i can think of at the top of my head) had to create a new state (and this is what the various conflicting Meo christian denominations have to do; come together, gather strength, go conquer enemies and create a brand new state). After several generations of war the roman catholics just had to accept that there will be some protestants living within their already existing nation, country, state.

Before the Word was made known to the Hmong, they were left to use the old ways. But now that they have heard the Word, they should rejoice and be glad in it. They have been liberated!

I know right? Thats why mormons have booths at hmong soccer tournaments to liberate people with the true teachings. Pretty sure the CMA, Baptist and even Catholic Meos are very happy with this.

Well that never stopped the European nations did it? Having different denominations actually isn't a problem at all when it comes to nation building. The reason divisions still exist among Hmong Christians is because the Hmong part still exists in them.

Give an example of a european people who had various conflicting christian denominations and was able to create a state for themselves? Go into a tad details.

What the hell are you talking about? Do you even know any legit Jew? Do you keep up with Jewish news (both religious and secular)?

I swear, Hmong people! Most are complete imbeciles - especially the edumacated ones from their prestigious liberal universities. It's like you all think the only black people are black Leftists and the only legit white people are white leftists.

What part of what i wrote does your cognitive dissonant brain not understand? Do a retake and it should be quite simple to see.

More reasons why the hmong villager got converted.

3) hmong undervalued themselves while at the same time percieved whites as superior (even today some hmong subconsciously still do this), or as i often say about the phenomenon, “white is right.” They saw whites as people greater themselves. Whites/fabkis came to conquer. Whites had superior technology. Whites were more educated. Whites were physically taller, bigger, had better clothings, and carried themselves as if they owned the world. They were confident. And they were people of authority. They made hmong pay taxes. So the lowly uneducated hmong villager placed the “evidences” infront of him and concluded since whites are strong, powerful, knowledgable, and they believe in the bible, the bible must be true. “How else would whites have the strength if not for the bible?” he thought to himself. “If i turn to jehova/christianity, i too may have a chance to gain and have what whites have,”Thats the rationalizatio n of the hmong villager whose never ventured more than a few square miles in his life from his birth place... Go talk to an old hmong (Meo, i mean) who converted to dab yesxus and ask their reasons. Not all, but many will cite that they went to christianities because “ameslivkas yog caublauj (global ruler,,, its a Lao word)... Ntseeg vajtswv thiaj ua neej vammeej (vammeej is a very broad definition ranging from wealth and prosperity to education).

The Hmong people understood the gospel. They didn't need deep theology. Cov nyob Los Tsuas or Nplog Teb yog cov ntseeg ua ntej and they were Protestants. They were not Catholics at all.

Great. Dont call doctors. Dont use modern medicines. Good for you. Hopefully youre telling the truth this time. I really, really hope you are honest in what you wrote.

You think you don't have hell but you still have Tub Tuag Teb that's hell too ain't it?

Having your body thrown in there by ntxiv neeb was the ultimate in being cast to hell. Where u think ur going? Same shit.  :2funny:

There's detailed description of hell even on earth right now, and it matches what we understand as the cross section of the Earth today.  Go look it up, then, do a search on hell on the surface of the sun. It's not that hard to imagine. It's been staring at us our whole lives.

And no, I don't depend on science. I depend on the power of God and prayer. I depend on diet and excerise, the food God has given us in this earth. Not no damn drugs that was created in the lab by so called science.

Heh, “having your body thrown in there by ntxiv [txiv] neeb” shows how informed you are about hmong culture. Come back to this when youre in the know.

Like G HW Bush said, read my lips, Hmong dont have hell (your hell). Thats reserved for people like you.

Dont fall for the vwjtxheej rovtaw tuam ntuj decievers tricks. He blatantly cited a biased christian website hoping nobody would notice. If hes being disingenuous then i would actually think he has some grey matters upstairs. But if he truly believes that fiction then wow, hes even more wacky than one other christian (theafterlife)in here.

You don't know that.  That's a strawman fallacy.

I could easily parrot this argument and say,

"You don't want to be in Jehovah, because your scared of the light".

Actually, we believe because we are given the gift of faith in God and the regeneration of the Holy Spirit. We are born again of the Spirit that we may believe. Therefore, we are motivated by God's Love for us in the atoning work of Christ. We have no fear of death. Rather, we believe one day we will be resurrected.

In fact, as a disbeliever, you are more fear of death!! A disbeliever should also recognize that each day his lives is ultimately meaningless and merely delays his inevitable fate.

What? I fear death more than a believer like you?

I mean i do fear death. Almost all people do. But im not the one constantly trying to reassure himself that hes taken all the precautions necessary so as not to go to hell rather than boring “heaven.” ... in hmong, we dont have hell. And no one is stuck in limbo for eternity... but for you, one slip up, and youre damned forever in hell.

You have no fear of death?,,, ok, i believe you. Alright, dont go to see doctors when youre sick. Dont get vaccinations. Dont take medicines. Do like some christians do and just pray... that way you will get to go see jehova sooner rather than later.
