OMB, why would any parent do this to their own kid. I can understand it if a step parent did it, but your own blood? Crazy world or ours and the insane people who walk among us.

Who knows, maybe the kid didnt listen and made the house messy.
My mom tied my little brother's to the table legs when they were little kids becuase they was making the house messy!

Never had Lyn see anyone chained their own child like this. This is just cruel and what kind of parents choose to gamble over their own child? >:(

Sorry to say but sometimes, harsh punishments or what you called barbaric is required in disciplining children. The civilize way just don't work with an uncivilized child. Everyone needs to have disobedient children to understand the situation.

Old news... but we can't judge them on this. Maybe the kid was a gangster wannabee...
One of my cousin chained his 15 yrs old son to the basement support beam every night for a whole week because he would not listen to his mom and go out to steal and drink with his friends. My cousin works the night shift...
