Nail Art anyone?

I like to paint my nails quite often.  I got bored of just painting it one solid color so I decided to add a little flare to them.  Here are some of mine:


Flower made with a dotting tool.


St. Patty's Day nails... I didn't like it because I thought it looked like fungus. LOL.


Black and Silver French... I thought it looked weird.


Light gold with black star glitter.

Just thought I'd add a different beauty topic to this section.  Please post up your polished nails up too! =)

I luv doing my nails but i have to find the time and i'd to be in the mood to do it.  i'm no pro and with help of youtube and practice u really can do just about anything.  LOL

OK here are some looks I've done.  I have always worn alternate colors on my nails and for the most part it's rare to see me wear one color.  I like my nails fun...but i'm not that creative and usually i get "stuck" doing them the same. 

there's no art done but thought i'd share.  i went n got my nails done for the holidays (we took family pics w the color theme being red and grey--I opted for red and black--yes, I like black a lot).  They didn't do that good of a job so I came home and re-painted my nails.

but that's y they have nail decals and nail pens now...SO much easier.  I'm no artist but it sure helps.

I'm not artistic enough to do my own nails, and work's Dress Code does not allow designs on nails, so mine stay unpainted or if I do paint it, they'll be in a plain ole nude or clear color, but I really like the star ones from both of you.

Since there isn't a nail color thread, I'll just post in here.  I'm not much of a nail art person, but I do enjoy seeing/looking at them.  Mine are usually just one solid color.  I was feeling blue.....

Choco-latte.......in other words, nude.

This color had a peculiar name and it wasn't even associated to the color.  To me it looks purplish-maroon.......perfect for fall.

Thanks BUT my hands are faaaaaar from perfect.  They have scars here and there......... .some you can't see.

I like solid color too.  I have all brand of nail polish.  Lately, I stocked up on NYC which has good colors for $1 at Target. 

I don't keep my nail long because I can't type, cook, etc.  I have to keep them short and trim.  I never had my nails done at the salon/shop. 

Kind of hard to take a picture with the ipad. 



Going to cleaned out these nail polish sometime this week and either throw away or give to my little girls.  I don't let my girls messed with my make-up and stuffs.
