Title: .NET development on Linux and Mac OS X

For those of you who hates Windows but are forced to learn VB and C#, now you can on Linux or Mac OS X.  You just need the Mono runtime and mono develop software.  http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page

if you are force to developed in .net, might as well run a vm with windows cause mono has it's limitations in dev work.  It is best to  developed in the environment that your target app is in but it is a good alternative for older .net framework dev.

True, I was thinking about those who want to toy around with VB and C# language and not the UI or any of Windows library.
