Title: Dell XPS or HP Pavillion DV4??

I need your input on this.. I'm debating to buy one of these two. WHich one should I buy?

I would buy a $200 laptop on craigslist.

Yeah... I have looked into that, but not knowing how much damage the previous owner has done to the comp and then replacing all the items will roughly cost me the same as buying a new machine.

I may just end up buying nothing and stick with what I got for now. :'( haha

If you know how to fix / repair buy used laptop its good too.....

But if you only know how to play while computer still power on then go buy the new one.....doesn't matter how much it cost buy the one you like it.......

remember you got what you pay for it....

Yes, the Dell does have that NVIDIA which is really good... but when I went back to check it out.... the deal was over... :(  And the HP keeps being outa stock....

But I found this one... and bought it... I'm not sure about the sound and video but all other aspects sounds goood....

What do you plan to use it for?  Gaming - video card is nice.  But discrete video is going to shorten your battery life.  If you don't play game, stick with integrated or switchable video.
