A house smaller than some people's garage.
1 bedroom, 1bath, 500 sqf.
Was sold in 1995 for $17k.
Was sold in 2005 for $27k.
Today, they want it for $55k.
I'm tempted to get it but it is about 20 minutes from work.

I've always wanted one of them little homes back in the college days...
-
I probably wont buy it for 55K. I don't know too many people but I can't live in such a small quarter. It's cheap on maintained, but what happens when the guesses come over or you wanted to sell it. Is there a demand for small homes?
A home is like a wife, you don't want to marry just any wife, you want the best one possible. Just my thought. GL. ;)

But it's a dream if you are paying less than $400 a month on housing. You have the rest of the money to invest.
Small house. Cheap to heat and to cool.

I just need a humongous garage with that little house. O0

Turn it into a meth lab and increase your returns.

500 Sq..?
Smaller than my master suite, bathroom and walk-in closet combined.
-
That is way too small of a house to live in permanently. Now, if it was a vacation cabin in the mountains with beautiful views of the landscape, a trickling stream down the hill, and a lake nearby where I could go fishing, then I'm all for it! ;D

Sounds like a great rental property for later on when u move on and get married. U can probably pay it off in or 6 years. 1k a month for 5 years.
