HmgROCK, if you wanna know why God won't speak or communicate with you because your SINS separate you from God. Heavenly father has the right to ignore you or he even not want to listen to your self-fish prayer. You gotta do God's standard = Once you confess all your sins then God will forgive you, you get closer to God. It's like a broken bridge got repaired that sins severed and the link between you and God can converse.

This dude does over excessive drinking, gambling, and sex.
He like your uncle who always have a beer in his hand
He gets message from God all the times even conversation

There's an "I" right in the middle of the word FAITH. Not "US" or "WE" or "YOU" and etc. It's how I believe and communicate that matters.

My relationship and my communication with god is a private matter between God and I only.
I talk to a few Christian family member
They say they can't talk to god.

There's a clear difference between asking because you want to know and asking in order to criticize or troll theism and spouting your own misguided idiocracy.
You're not asking because you want to know, it's quite clear. Regardless of what answer someone gives, you'll give some "explanation" or "exception" in order to criticize them and say what you think is correct. Or in the very simple sense you'll say something like.. "OH well, so and so says it's like this, which is which?" You cherrypick what someone says in order to fit your narrative.
You can't take anything at face value because you think you have the answer already.
Everyone's belief and communication is different. That should be obvious by now. Some are direct communications, some are indirect communications . Everyone does it differently.
And for the record. I don't know this "family" you speak of so I have no comment on the matter. Maybe they aren't communicating with him, maybe they are. Maybe it's indirect. I don't know. I'm not them. I only know how I communicate with god and it's a private matter.
For the record:
They're family member and we all trust each other
They never lied to me
They fled the Vietnam war with my parent
Covert about 10 years ago.
Told me honesty, that God don't think all to them at all
Just silence
So when you tell me, you talk to him all the times. Someone is lying.

Everyone communicates with God differently. Some are direct some are indirect.
Don't cherrypick examples to fit your narrative as a way to criticize someone else.

And it's quite clear now that you are just trolling. You weren't asking a question cause you want to know. You wanted to bash what others believe, that's why you already came up with an answer with a so called explanation with a family to fit your narrative. And you're still doing it. That's not asking, that's just attempting to goad people so you can criticize them. It's no different than the other thread.

Since you talk to god. I think it would be helpful if you can help some of my friend and family's communicate. They are die hard Christian just like you. I'm trying to help everyone
