Law enforcement is already empowered. This is saying they will not face penalties as long as they do anything Trump asks but will face penalties otherwise. Why are conservatives so blind they can’t see it?

He’s not explicitly calling it Marshal law so that conservatives can claim it’s not exactly marshal law but everything in this is pretty much marshal law:
