With you eternally mine
In love there is
No measure of time
We planned it all at the start
That you and I
Live in each other's hearts
We may be oceans away
You feel my love
I hear what you say
No truth is ever a lie
I stumble and fall
But I give you it all - 'Woman in love' by Barbara Streisand

Yesterday, I took my daughter on a day's road trip to Duluth. I wanted to drive up the north shore and possibly go paddle boarding in the boundary waters. We did make to Sawbill, but she didn't want to because she said it was too cold. We hiked at Gooseberry and visited Split Rock Lighthouse. The best part of the trip was when we stopped to save a turtle that was about to cross the highway. It was on the verge on crossing over the solid white line into the fast moving traffic. I grabbed it and we took it to one of the streams. :)

There's a theory that says that due to infinity of space and time, out there exists an exact duplicate of you exactly as you are. Why because space and time are infinite, thus being infinite there has to be a duplicate world out there.

That's not true because the PI digit which starts with 3.141592..... goes on forever into infinity and yet it never repeats, and we are just talking 10 digits from 0-9. We are not even talking about the genetics of you or an entire world. You can have infinity without repetition.

“The story of the young woman whose death I witnessed in a concentration camp. It is a simple story. There is little to tell and it may sound as if I had invented it; but to me it seems like a poem. This young woman knew that she would die in the next few days. But when I talked to her she was cheerful in spite of this knowledge. "I am grateful that fate has hit me so hard," she told me. "In my former life I was spoiled and did not take spiritual accomplishment s seriously." Pointing through the window of the hut, she said, "This tree here is the only friend I have in my loneliness." Through that window she could see just one branch of a chestnut tree, and on the branch were two blossoms. "I often talk to this tree," she said to me. I was startled and didn't quite know how to take her words. Was she delirious? Did she have occasional hallucinations? Anxiously I asked her if the tree replied. "Yes." What did it say to her? She answered, "It said to me, 'I am here-I am here-I am life, eternal life.”

My stupid little self as a teenager stole $20.00 from a cousin when he came for a sleepover. It is a shameful moment in my life which demonstrates the hijacking of my mind due to wanting something which doesn't belong to me, and then taking it. I cannot make excuse for that boy but it is very wrong, and I was very wrong. I am so sorry.

All my life, I am pro-Israeli. I admire their strength as a people. Their deep traditions groom the best in humanity in the academics, science, commerce, and in the arts. Their resolve for "never again" after the holocaust strengthened their entire people. They live surrounded by their enemies and yet they thrive. However, Benjamin Netanyahu has made me think that the devil is now among the Israelis as once it was in Germany. There is a saying that goes something like, the devil's greatest trick is deceiving the world to believe it does not exist. I am still pro-Israeli, but I am not pro the devil.

If the Palestinian is to find peace and prosperity, they must learn from Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King. They must use peaceful activism only. As Buddha says "Hatred never ceases hatred, but only through love. This is the ancient and eternal rule."
