Younger generations are ghetto as heck. No class. No shame. Sad.

True.
These events aren't special anymore.

Primitive is, primitive does..I mean if they want to see how tough they are then lock themselves in a warehouse and have at it with no innocent by stander in the way. It's even worst in 90s but these newer fights are just as primitive...At least this primitive behavior incident in Laos mainly just involved the two participants at hand with very little chance of innocent by standers getting hurt in the process:

Like I keep preaching, we are going to have another wave of uneducated young Hmong MEN running around clueless, low life house party drinking fest, free loading, doing petty BS things again........ Why I know this? I have a son who work in the court system. I get the low down. Young Hmong men are appearing more and more again like the 90s for stupid petty things. Not so much the Hmong women tho.
-
I feel bad for the artists and the event committees.
Theres also the Deevsiab concert incident being blown up on facebook.
Bad way to begin. Making a name for your record label.

I think the real casualties in this are the chairs.
or
Starting a new tradition, chair tossing instead of ball tossing.

Although rare, any Hmong event I go to I'm always looking out for the troublemakers. You won't miss them. They're usually the loudest.
Stay safe.

Fights seem to happen at events mostly indeed. Usually behind us.
I was at a club years ago, eating. Suddenly, some Corona glass pieces were flying right beside me. The noise came from behind me. I turned to it and one guy was down on the ground, his neck bleeding. The other rushed into a crowd and disappeared.
One time I was at the J4 event. I was still checking out some stuff on a vendor's table. Two guys were fighting right behind me. I turned and saw one back-kicking the other on the chest a few times. The other only moved back a few steps and came wrestling his opponent down.
I think we should always look behind us at events.

Those guys need to watch more Ray Vang videos and take lessons ;D

I blame the parents who did not raise their children properly. The lack of modeling good behavior in the Hmong community within a segment of the population is appalling. Due to the lack of modeling behavior and discipline, these children grew up neglected, untaught, and some of them abused. Nobody in their right mindset would ever think about ruining a celebration as important as the HNY due to some petty anger.
My two cents...
-
Ever since Hmong gang violence was at its' height in the 90s, my proposal have always been, if they want to fight so badly, lock them up in a warehouse and let them go at it until most of them are dead if not all...GOOD RIDDANCE...
That way innocent bystanders don't get hit with stray bullets... O0

They did watch Ray Vang. Then they attacked Ray Vang as well.

The family of these deceased are not to smart or not heart broken enough or mad af for revenge, etc. To catch a killer you must........
UP THE REWARD MONEY.
They must come together and to an agreement and come up with AT LEAST 100K or more to catch these killers. When the pool of money is big enough people will snitch, talk, rat, tell, etc. Somebody knows something but the reward is not big enough to take the risk and tell, so hush hush for now. Someone out there knows something and they need the money also.
-
True. They think people care more than they do and that people will go out of their ways to take care of this without them caring more.
Notice I didn't say the families don't care; I'm just saying they could care more.
