It's funny how they labeled the Japanese brands "metric" but not the European brands.  ;D ::)

"Men" in Laos can be just as bad as the ones here, bad people are born on all continents and all cultures.... my humble opinion.

Well put "opinion" there. Having lived in Laos, Thailand, and here, I agree that "bad people" are born on all continents and men in Laos can be just as bad. Even worst there based on my observations due to its patriarchal system. The biggest difference between here and over there is men actually receive real punishments here for their deeds against their women.

I still remembered an incident over there where a young man was berating his wife in public and even physically assaulting her and everyone just mind their own business including my mom. My mom told me not to stare or say anything but I could see the wife cried quietly because there's nothing she could do against him. Over here, that dude would've gotten his ass dragged to jail and due to karma, get his basic human rights violated the same way by Tiny.

any experts on this? which type or brand for a good deal? been thinking about it for a long time now.

I think most does the job but I prefer the models that allows mobile monitoring. Don't feel a need for a system yet though...

Cool, hope it is truly "powerful" even in relative term. When Kwak redesigned their baby Ninja back in '08, I thought it looks pretty good for a 2 fity. However, the specs were disappointed as it loss power and gain more weight compared to the previous gen. Plus still no FI. This Yammi looks just as sharp as its competitors if not better.  O0

How about mountain biking on the hilltops of the Hmong villages? I think that will truly be awesome and something to fulfill one day.

And easier to pack on a plane than a moto. If you have a nice one, make sure you take pictures of the Hmong in Laos' faces when telling them how much you paid for it. Got a buddy that has a $7,000 road bicycle.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or serious here.

No, not serious...Ther e's another Pher here that's really into mountain biking. He posted a bunch of pics and vids of his treks but can't recall his name...shouldn't be hard to search for though.

My dad actually has a scooter there that we just bought a few months ago.  I myself probably wouldn't want to do a dirt bike or sports bike while there.  I wouldn't mind a light cafe racer though.  Maybe an older CB350 or so.

Cafe sounds like a good fit there...

I want to look at to see what kind of question they asking...  Gonna go take my exam! wish me luck...

you'll be fine. It's very similar to the auto written permit test. Just read that little DMV booklet, and you'll be fine. You may be able to download or get it from your local DMV site.  If not, do the MSF course. Once you passed the course, you get your license, no need to go to DMV for the hands on portion.
