at my financial job
i don't even do anything
half the time, im just browsing the internet and getting up to use the bathroom
i go through 2-3 cups of coffee trying to stay awake
sure, i went to school for it
but dude, i don't even do anything
and they just keep paying me tons of $$$ for doing nothing
in term of work
i think those fast food worker does more than me

$11 x 40 hours x 4 week= $1760 monthly
after tax
and depending on your martial status
you looking at $1300ish
give or take
that's barely enough to cover your rent

the boss provide housing, food, clothing for free
those are replace by money
he don't provided any of those
but give you money so you can provided yourself with those stuff
if you really look at it from a different point of view
it's just another form of slavery

I think without some kind of government assistance
you guys will be all dead
because
$11/hour is barely enough to cover the rent....
to truly be able to live without any government assistance
like be able to pay your own healthcare, insurance, house etc...
you looking at least $30/hours

I'm not "shock" at $7.25/hour as I started working as a janitor when minimum wage was $4.25/hour...but that they did not get paid for all the times they put in (if true)...given how rich the NFL teams are..
