Say all your assets were gone, you lost your job, you have no money, nothing but the clothes on your back. Banks won't loan you any money so you'll have to depend on your friends and family only.
How much would your friends/family be willing to loan you?

Until I am in that shoe, only then would I know.
Family can only help you so much. We live in a society where everything is expenses.

Don't need a loan. I'll find a minimum wage job ASAP and rebuild as any capable person would and I would definitely not whine about the situation because life isn't fair. Many people have experienced this in war-torn nations. My late great uncle was industrious in Laos. He was rich according to the standard than...my dad said more cattle head than you can count...more opium than the family can work on. He lost everything in the war. He came to the US and led the rebuilding efforts...unde r his leadership, the clan had all sorts of businesses until the next generation sold it off.

Depends. Some answers are relevant, while others are irrelevant, making it not an answer to the question. Same with FACTS, some are relevant and some are irrelevant. So it is only logical to ignore someone's irrelevant FACTS, then afterwards present FACTS of your own that's actually relevant.

I was there at that point. Not a single family pitched in to help. I asked and the answer was..."we're going to talk about it with the significant other..."
The one time in my entire life did I ever asked...and when they asked of me...I was always there. Now I'm in no position to help any one any more. It's exactly what they say about the giant's land. "They will use you, abuse you, and then refuse you." Cuz they do it at the homeland too.
