Fresno New Year photos sharing........

I went the 1st and the last 3 days.  The 1st day is the best day.  It ended with Hands Band singing live on stage 4/5 songs.  I didn't go to any of his concert or the free one.  It was a blast just seeing how good he was on stage that day.  People can go up to the front near the stage.  He gave out free t-shirts, cds and concert tickets.  I didn't get any picture of myself.  Its only my daughter on the 1st and last day.

I went to International New Year for 1 hour.  It is sad to see what it is like there.  All they had was flag football, top spin and volleyball.  Nothing happening on the stage.  One food booth which is my favorite that I didn't see at the fairground but at International.

I watched some of the videos from hmong international new year and its quite sad. Hmong people are too blind and arrogant to see that segregation only hurts us, not help us.

We planned to stay the whole day at International New Year.  After 1 hour there was nothing to do and see.  We head to the fairground.  We are usually there at the New Year by 11am the early and 12 noon the latest.  Leaving New Year like 4/5pm back home to Merced. 

I will shared Merced New Year tomorrow. 

My daughter went with her best friend who is Touly's niece to his and Tsab Mim party.  All they did was help volunteer selling drinks and foods.  I told her she didn't need to dressed up.

I keep telling myself I want to come back for Fresno's new year but the truth is I can only see myself going for 2 days max. I need to find other things to keep me occupied during my stay.  Its the new year. Everybody needs to dress to impress

We always parked at the county lot and walked. The time you circle around for a parking space you can already walk and get in line by that time.  Just the last 2 yrs our cousin just happened to move and live right around the corner of the fairground.

The thing is, they been running the Hmong international new year for years and each year, they had lots of people and it seems they claim they didn't make any profits.  This year, this new group says they made a profit and it seems like there weren't as many people as previous years so go figure.
