Yeah, only get with people who cleared their slate to be with you. If you're getting breadcrumbs then it's usually because their past is still in the picture.

Most guys are pretty decent. If they're not ready for a relationship and breadcrumb you in the beginning then you can detach pretty easily because you haven't emotionally invested in them.

The ones to watch out for are the manipulative ones who breadcrumb you AFTER a relationship has been established and feelings have developed. A way to avoid this type of person is to thoroughly examine their relationship history. Don't fall for their love bombs - because they always use this tactic - and don't mistake their acts of service as anything more. It's hard because this type of person always seem to appear when you're at your most vulnerable state. However, you're most likely dealing with a narcissist or dismissive avoidant who already has a primary supply.
