Tigers don't lose their stripes

If you've been mistreated by someone, the likelihood that they're going to mistreat the person in their next relationship is 200%.

Often times when we're the one who got discarded and we see the ex move on, we think badly about ourselves. We wonder why the ex didn't value us and how come their new person seems to have the things we wanted but never got.

Well, wonder no more.

Most likely, that new person isn't getting much either but they just have a different reaction than you. Maybe they're willing to put up with the inconsistency, the breadcrumbing, the abuse, the lies, and whatnot. Or maybe, they're the type who will give your ex a taste of their medicine and though they may have a relationship it's a very toxic one. Believe it or not but some people can't seem to leave a toxic connection because they always have to get in one last word/action. It's a war of the egos.

The way that someone treated you just doesn't change overnight because they found someone new who makes them feel alive. That limerence is short-lived and they'll go back to their old habits.
