General Discussion / Re: Bars and Club After Marriage?

Read all 16 pages minus certain members' posts…  ::)

He may agree but he's only doing it because y'all still newlyweds and he wants you to be happy. It will get old fast. Or is the question, when will it get old? As if clubbing is so exciting to begin with right?? I suppose I should expect to see commercials of kids saying "when I grow up, I want to be a clubber" instead of them wanting to be doctors and astronauts. Aim for the excitement! ::)

I also read that there's a score board already as far as I get to do stuff in return for doing attending his events. This scoreboard stuff is not healthy for marriage at all. Pretty soon, one partner could be in the hole and the other will collect big time. Marriage is not a game. Don't keep score.  :idiot2:

What is he doing when you go out? Does he have to send reports in like you do? Or is his leash limitless??

I wanna see it too. Kinda sucks there's no more Harry Potters to go watch every couple of years. It was cool to see them grow up in front of us.  O0

Deeper sink helps when washing larger bowls and pots and keeps the splashing to a minimum.  O0

My wife is average Hmong girl height so she recently said she prefers to wash dishes in the island veggie sink because that counter is lower than the double sink one.   ;D

My black composite blanco sink was much deeper than the versions at the big box stores, and the granite company we used only did the removal of the existing counter and installation of new counter. No plumbing.

In our new house, the composite sinks are unfortunately standard depth.  :'(  They're already under mounted in the Cambria countertops so go changing out for a while… :-\

Look into Blanco. They make composite sinks. I bought a black one from overstock, I believe. I gave it  to give it to the granite fabricator so they could cut the correct hole and mount it  I assume if you buy everything from Homedeopot, they will take care of that.

One thing to note, the new sink was quite deeper and we wanted to add a disposal, which we did not have previously. That meant I had to hire a plumber to lower the drain on the wall pipe and take care of all the under sink piping,  in order to make everything work.

One more thing…

If you don't already have it, under cabinet (task) lighting would be great to add at this time. You go the simple LED strips that plug into a wall socket or have an electrician wire them to a switch. The new backsplash will cover all the holes cut by the electrician.   O0

With the floor, I like the far right granite.

I'd like a little more pop and contrast with the backsplash if I were going with the light colored granite.  Lowes and Homedeopot don't have much in the stylish dept. Take a look here: http://www.medicimosaics.com/Products.aspx  O0

Should OKC trade Westbrook now or they will find the same situation like Durant comes next season.

Wade wants $50 mill for two years contract. Should the Heat give it to him?

Without some guarantee that he will stay, they will have to trade Westbrook or end up with nothing.

Miami owes it to him and wade doesn't want to leave. He's a lifer.

$360 a rim is a lot but OEM always costs a lot.

For that kind of money, I'd wait for a nice set of used Volks to pop up. Those are easier to find in SoCal compared to MN.  No reps for me.  :P

I run 18" Advan RG's on mine.  O0

Studies show that reading a book before bedtime can improve brain function, mental imagery, imagination and make a person more empathetic.  O0

That study would have found me falling asleep as I start to read. ::)  :D ;D
