General Discussion / my rant... Had a WTF just happened moment?

So over the weekend, I was gonna get something to eat and I walked into this place with a bar. I was in a good mood too but this angry guy walks straight at me.  I see him coming so I stopped and tried to move over to one side to let him pass.  I even said "excuse me" as I stepped to the side, but he changes path directly towards me and says "Get the fu!ck out of my way!" and throws a stiff forearm/elbow right into my sternum as he brushes by me and out the door.  By the time I was able to process what just happened, he was gone.  I didn't even have time to react.  I'm just left thinking... WTF? I was totally not prepared to react to this guy's aggression.  Think I'm gonna have to be more aware of my surroundings from now on.

You'll need to have some upfront money.  You'll need to buy the land, cash only. Then you'll need money for the seeds, fertilizers, farming equipment. Then there's money you'll need to pay off the Sheriff and Game Wardens to turn their backs.  You'll also need to pay someone to watch your land and protect your crop from thieves.

Sad for those who do need the program.  As for poachers, I'm not worry about that, I'm worry about getting rob, shot, killed or in need of help while out there when their is no authorities and staff working.  It can be a messy or life and death situation IMO.  Just wondering what kind of psycho out there and what they are doing since they know ain't nobody patrolling.  Just be-careful.

Yes. If poachers see you, that could be a problem because that means you saw them.

I'm kinda done with theme parks, fancy hotels and Resort trips.  I think I just wanna go visit relatives, travel around and see the landscapes, see some tourist sites and do some camping and fishing.

I hear they're funded through Feb and that's about it so if they don't reopen, does that mean no more food stamps for a while?  Tell your mom and dad okay?

Also, the national parks are open but no rangers, does that mean, open game for Hmong poachers?  Hrmm...

If we did that, we'd have to blame poverty because it's found that poverty driven areas had more users than well off areas.  Then we'd have to fix poverty and which Republican would wanna do that?  If you tried, you'd be called a socialist.
