To me, the most worthwhile thing is to be a parent, not to give birth. Sure, I would like both if possible. We never told my parents about the idea of adoption, but over our last dinner together with my parents, they actually expressed that we should keep adoption open too. That just made my heart smiled.

It isn't that we wouldn't do adoption without their blessing, it's just that they recognize that we really do want to be parents and that there are children in the world who could have our love and support.

I really don't like being tickled...some times if I get tickled too hard, tears start rolling. Might just be me. Who knows? Husband was karate chopping tickles my way all morning yesterday. It got so hard to handle, I held my breath in to subdue the tingles. :2funny:

It's hilarious...hi larious that someone views providing everyone basic healthcare or higher minimum wage as a socialist value, yet they see it perfectly alright to use our tax $ to bail farmers and banks out...they see it perfectly fine to give big corps bigger tax breaks.

People and companies complain that by increasing minimum wage to even $12, costs will drive up. Well, costs has increased all these years, but minimum wage barely did. Being a business owner ourselves, we already are paying above the minimum - albeit, we employ less than 3 people. Sure, we'll possibly encounter losing our employees to other jobs that requires less work and same pay, but we're fine with that, because it means our elders, friends, and family are also getting a higher pay.
