Been talking about OPGN for over a month.   :idiot2:

Also, go read my option play and come tell me the 3 tickers.  2 of 3 were complete losers. I'll help you with one of them.  TWLO.  What's the 3rd one?  It's not OPGN.

I’m so far in that a light swing either direction will cause a heart attack.

It's volatile...Sup er Tuesday will swing it 2-3% up or down.  I'm a classical liberal (aka moderate) and so I'm hoping Biden wins.  With that said, I really like Bernie but dude wants to spend like crazy.  We have to be flexible.  For example, remove the cap on social security tax.  Raise social security tax on salary up to 300k versus 135k per person.  Increase the progressive tax rate to 55%.  Raise sales tax by 0.5% across the country to fund sustainability and health innovation initiatives.  Remove the loopholes the rich are using.  Increase tax credits like education, healthcare, child care, and etc... which will help create a sustainable future.

The whole conservative movement of attacking the government and shrinking it down to nothing has proven to be a disaster because schools are failing, healthcare spending out of the country but doesn't help people get healthy, work stress, suicide, etc... all-time high.  We do need some level of government, and we need to make it accountable and to do that they can simply run LEAN and TQM principles if they wanted to.

General Discussion / Is Coronavirus REALLY DEADLY?
« on: March 03, 2020, 11:03:01 AM »
Some guy ran the numbers and made a visual representation to help us all understand the situation.  I did some fact-checking and looks like CDC said 1.5% over the weekend.

Yax,

You are way too bias against Trump because you live in the California echo chamber.  Dr. Fauci said he was not muzzled.  He spoke freely.  This could look really really bad.  Even Trump agreed this could get really ugly but like everyone, we think we have the best healthcare system and preparation plan.

1.5% mortality is not the house is on fire.  Here's a youtube video to give you reasons to calm yourself and those around you.

CDC indicated 1.5% mortality without vaccination.  Flu has 0.6% mortality with vaccination.  The dangers are old people, immune-compromised people, and infants.  Healthy adults and kids will have a high recovery rate.  The real problem is how governments are shutting down.  Also, the rate of infection in China has stopped.  China might be contained.

Looks like the rate cut didn't do enough.  Perhaps the market was looking for .5% vs .25%.  In addition, looks like the FDA is going to let some of the LDT Coronavirus test across interstate commerce.  Good for the FDA to calm the public panic.  Now the real issue is Bernie Sanders.  Looks like the DFL are sandbagging Sanders.  If Biden wins, the market goes up.  If Bernie wins, it's going to be volatile.  2020 is becoming the year of election and virus.  You cannot make this shit up!

It's going to be funny.  HR is going to say yes Bernie then cry about his 401k again.   :2funny:

I don't mean any disrespect, but the whole donkey kong market saw that coming.  Gotta keep the gravy train going you know!

Watch out for BIMI and NK in the next two weeks.  NLTA, TLRY, MGI, NVTA are good swings 1-2 months out.  Wait after earnings for the last 4.

I’m not back to full time yet.
