Soung kong. My dad said when the sons get married and have kids, they change their last names to soung but the daughters remain a kong.

Hmmm, never heard of that as Chinese surname but some names are spelled in several variations. Good luck!

Of all the hmong invitations that I have ever been to, even myself, I have not witnessed any hmong guys entering a house, a party, a gathering where they would reach out and shake the hand of a female hmong there.

Why is that?

I just don't do it because I copy what the people and their culture be doing first.  Maybe we don't know who that female belongs to so thou shalt not touch what is not ours?

Sad really. We shake hands, high fives, and even give Hmong women hugs when it's appropriate to do so. I've also seen the do not touch or even talk to or make eye contact and walk like a robot (arms straight down) type in the past too.

The king, minor character:  O0

can things get anymore ridiculous? As much as I want to be a good nyab, I can't live in misery anymore so i found the courage to tell my mother in law that my husband and i are going to move out.

Good for you! If you wait until your health and well-being deteriorates to the point of no return due to misery, it will affect your baby too.

And oh, in laws are old fashioned. They want everyone to live together under one roof. *kill me*  :'(

I'm starting to hate my life more and more.

Sorry to hear. If you value your life and happiness, time to leave, and the sooner the better. Old fashioned or not, if they don't know how to live together with others civilly under one roof, it's better to go separate ways. And that goes for anyone else in a miserable situation. Good luck!

I hope others can learn from your situation and plan better for long term commitments. If that means drafting a legal binding document, prenuptial, etc., so be it.

Would any of you two wheel guys be interested in buying an electric bike? How about some other companies like Yamaha, Suzuki, Ducati, or Honda offered electric powered bikes - would you be interested?

E-bikes are good for short trips so If I ride within 100 miles, I think it's a good idea economically speaking.

Will they work on ice and snow?

As long as you have the skill and right equipment such as snow tire, it should be fine  O0:

Here's a one wheel version:

Seems like a much better started bike then a small 250 Ninja or Rebel. I have not ridden a bike on the street but have ridden dirt bikes. What are your guys thoughts about this being a good starter... Just a bit about me, I really like the Honda Rukus but since I weigh 220 lbs I thought it was a little small for me, not to mention expensive for 49CC scooter

You're gonna get different perspective because not everyone has the same comfort level. I suggest go sit on one at the dealership, and see how well it fits you. Power level, the operator can learn to control it but ergos, not so much, it is what it is.

You've only proven yourself to be the REAL Troll since you can't even debate intelligently and stick to the topic. Your poor attempts to divert this thread only shows that you are a TROLL.

Yep, another displayed of the PH's Village Troll patented move: Tuck and Run

As a result, You ARE proven wrong once again based on the claim you've made!

It's not the first time and won't be the last that PH's Village Troll is proven wrong from those of us that actually have integrity and credibility to back up our claims so here goes again:

BTW, I guaradamntee again that PH's Village Troll will NOT be able to back up her past claim by continuing to "read" what I write ... ;D

Yeah, PH's Village Troll is still in the denial stage ...Such a stupid dumb Troll ;D.
