Here's my most recent fantasy digital art. I used a kit by a designer for the majority of the layout. These kinds of layouts are known as "digital scrapbook/fantasy scrapbook" in the digi-scrap world. It's also known as concept art or fantasy art.
I spent most my time on my sister (in the green dress), especially her hair once I decided on my concept. If you haven't yet, you can read more about it on my blog (http://prettypeonydesigns.blogspot.com/2013/03/fantasy-layout-fairies.html) and also see how I transformed my sister into a fairy + see a couple of close-ups.

I know what you mean about drawing. I drew a lot too in high school and then stopped. Now it's difficult to draw the way I used to. For some it might come back naturally, but for me, I need to keep at it to get better and I haven't.

I used to draw a lot...sketches to drawings. but it's kind of an emotional or inspirational thing for me. It takes feelings to do it. And when the feeling is gone, the work is usually left incomplete.

I will be honest in that I haven't drawn or painted in years but still do a lot of digital stuff.

I am not a detailed artist so my drawings are very simple not like Sifu and yours. You guys are very talented especially you MA. Your creations are very unique and you're such a fantastic artist. I would love to see more from every one here. ;)

I also did some hmong comics but they were never finished or posted anywhere.
A hmong inspired comic book would be a next project, i still need to find a good story though.
