Our fate collided for a brief moment

      Then you had to leave

            You took all of me


Our fate was nothing but a dream

      Promises you made

           It was never for keep


I waited for you patiently

      Years turn into eternity

          A lifetime of memories washed away

I searched within my dreams for the truth

I searched my heart for your beat


Every search led me to emptiness

Yet my memories tainted with your kisses

Still fresh like it was just yesterday


The memories of you still remain

Fresh like the drops of morning rain
