- take care of someone
- accrue assets
- create stability
- secure a wife who will help oversee these things

The most satisfying and successful marriages I know include a husband who is all of these things. Otherwise, you just have a dude who enjoys spending time with you and using up your energy. In essence, a playmate. Which is why so many women are unhappy in their marriage/situationship.

It doesn't matter how nice he is or how much you enjoy his company. If he isn't in this state of mind and in a position to do these things, then you'll only be disappointed. The parent can at least die naturally in hospice care. These Chinese wives will poison your mom so she goes quicker. Did you ever think that maybe that's why theking put his mom in hospice care instead?

Show some compassion. 

I think it was last year when that Chinese wife got caught on camera slowly poisoning her husband's coffee.

Don't worry though. I'm 100% positive theking's inlaws make all sorts of excuses to their Chinese friends and family about their daughter marrying a Hmong dude.

"Yes, he has a job. He isn't a doctor but as long as they're happy."

 

Then they have to sit there and listen to how Melissa Chang is marrying a Chinese doctor and having a destination wedding in Hong Kong or whatever.

It's already bad enough that there are useless Hmong spouses, but a useless non-Hmong spouse?

There are very few who really chip in. theking's Chinese wife is not one of them.

The Hmong have very low expectations. They're just happy the non-Hmong spouse was willing to show up since most find Hmong customs very primitive. They feel very uncomfortable.

Hey, at least the non-Hmong spouses admit that they're useless. I'm not even criticizing them. But I know that it upsets theking because he's a son who should've married a Hmong girl who can carry out the customs.

When his mom dies, the daughter-in-laws are supposed to dress her in the Hmong clothes. Not sure theking's wife is willing to do this unless she is in the medical field and is comfortable being around a corpse.

Chinese wife will honor a Chinese husband's parents, but not so sure they feel the same obligation to a Hmong dude.
