Back in 2021, a group of teacher sued the Ontario, Canada gov't for a law requiring teacher candidates to pass a math proficiency test. The test question are mostly pulled from 3-6 grades math problems plus some questions relating to how to teach math to students.

A Divisional Court sided with the plaintiff's argument that the requirement is racism because some minorities (black/brown) can't pass these math requirement.

The Appeal's Court just made their final decision - throwing out the 2021 court decision. The Appeal Court overwhelmingly found that although there is a “diversity gap” in Ontario’s teaching profession, the test did not reinforce, perpetuate or exacerbate disadvantages because the test was designed to test knowledge that high school graduates could reasonably be expected to know, and the test had been developed with sensitivity for bias and equity issues in mind.

CA, AZ, N.M have the 'wall' on their border but TX is mostly fenced. How about we get rid of the wall in CA, AZ and N.M. and allow illegals to entered just like in TX. See how long these Lefties/Demmies will be screaming for border control. Kinda like NY and Chicago crying when a few thousands were bussed to their cities while TX is facing thousands/day.

If Congress passed the current border law...

Congress is fighting over issue with another border law after TX refused feds to intervene with their arresting of illegals and Brandon issued a 24hr complied or face the consequences edict....

The power, which Brandon is referring to as an authority to "shut down the border" on Friday, would be mandated after average daily migrant crossings hit 5,000 over seven days, or 8,500 in a single day which is part of the new border bill.

I know what TX could do with this new bill... line the border with busses and make a straight line of convoys to DC, NY, Chicago, CA, CO or any other sanctuary cities/states. Let these states know how it is to have 5000/day, six days a week of illegals entering into the state.

During a meeting... A lone GOP elected official was seen being approached by two officials and arrested. It was her own meeting... she was criticizing the Dem Sheriff and this pisses a Dem elected members so they had her arrested.

An Ohio elected official’s constitutional rights were violated when her colleagues on a county board of commissioners had her arrested for criticizing the sheriff during a public meeting, a U.S. District Judge J. Philip Calabrese ruled Tuesday. Niki Frenchko, the lone Republican on the three-member Trumbull County Board of Commissioners, was placed in handcuffs by sheriff’s deputies at the commissioners’ meeting on July 7, 2022, and charged under an Ohio law that makes it a misdemeanor to “prevent or disrupt a lawful meeting.” The law prohibits obstructive conduct or speech that “outrages the sensibilities of the group.” The charge was later dropped.

“Here in America, we do not arrest our political opponents (Tell that to the Dems in DC). This case tests that longstanding norm as well as our Constitution’s robust protections for free speech that allow us to criticize our representative s and public officials.” The judge wrote.

Calabrese ruled that the sheriff (Paul Monroe), two deputies, and both county commissioners (Mauro Cantalamessa & Frank Fuda - retired and left the board) named in the suit are personally liable for damages. A hearing for damages will be held later (I can see lots $$$).

When Frenchko started criticizing the sheriff after an inmate died at the county jail. Mr. Fuda shot back, “You are talking about the chief law enforcement officer in Trumbull County; it’s unacceptable. You got a choice, you wanna apologize to the Sheriff, fine; if you don’t, we’re going to move on.” After Frenchko refused to move on, Mr. Fuda told a sergeant to go and arrest her... which he did.

Her attorney, David John Betras, a former Democratic Party chairman... “This has nothing to do with politics. We can’t arrest each other because you disagree with them politically. Once you start down that slope, it’s bad news for all of us. Who arrests someone for disturbing their own meeting?” AP

Since 2010, at least seven lawsuits have been filed alleging that the rights of inmates at the Trumbull County Jail had been violated - the same jail that Ms. Frenchko is questioning the Sheriff about.

Wants to make farming and fishing a criminal act... It is a form of Ecocide (mass damage and destruction of nature) she says.

Jojo Mehta, Co-founders of 'Stop Ecocide International' and CEO, claimed that farming and fishing is essentially genocide of nature. She wants to have it recognized legally as a serious crime. She wants to make it equivalent to mass murders, human torturing, etc etc 

“The concept is generally [understood as] mass damage and destruction of nature (talking about Ecocide). But legally speaking, what our organization and other collaborators aim to do is to have this recognized legally as a serious crime. One of the issues that pervade all of this discussion is that we have a kind of cultural very ingrained habit of not taking damage to nature as seriously as we take damage to people and property.

If you’re campaigning for human rights, at least you know mass murder, torture, and all of these things are serious crimes. But there’s no equivalent in the environmental space. Unlike an international crime like genocide, which involves a specific intent, with ecocide what we see is actually what people are trying to do, what businesses are trying to do, is make money, farm, fish, is do all of these things that produce energy, and so on. But what’s missing is the awareness and conscience around the side effects, around the collateral damage that happens with that.

If legislation against ecocide starts popping up and is passed in our respective national assemblies, and if it is established as credible in the international criminal courts, an avenue would be created for governments to go after energy companies, agriculture, and others deemed to be offenders.”
