In July 2023, Jamie Damon came out saying that he 'would be worry' for another Trump presidency...
However, on the panel of CNBC... he's saying a different tune... after being ask if the economy will determine who win the presidential election.
I think it's a mistake to assume that everything is hunky dory and you know when the stock markets is up, it's kinda like this little drug we all feel like it's all great but, you know, remember we've had so much fiscal and monetary stimulations. So I'm a little more on the cautious side that we are facing a lot of things in 2024 or 2025. And you mentioned Ukraine, the terrorist activity in Israel, the Red Sea quantitatively tightening which I still question if we understand exactly how that works. I don't think we do. QE actually worked, what the effect of negative, you know, zero rates was for all this time and obviously the politics and, you know, and then the Ukrainian war is affecting oil, gas, food, migration. So, you have all these very powerful forces that are going to affect us in '24 and '25. So, if I was the government I would be preparing for what I'm going to do about that assuming things aren't good. And I just want to point out and I wish the Democrats would think a little more carefully when they talk about MAGA. You know, if you travel this country, you know, and the country is unbelievable. We took our bus trip this year and Leslie Picker (another host on the show) was on Spoken and Boise and Boseman, people are growing, they're hungry to grow. They are innovating... It's, it's everywhere not just Silicon Valley. so we have this great hand and but when people say MAGA, they're actually looking at people voting for Trump and they think they're voting and they're basically scapegoating them "and you are like him" and but I don't think they're voting for Trump because of family value... if you take a step back and be honest... he's right about NATO, kinda right about immigration, he grew the economy quite, tax reformed worked, he's right about China and virus (another host jumped in - he called it China virus) right and I don't like how he says things about Mexico and I don't like but he wasn't wrong about some of these critical issues and that's why they're voting for him. And I think people should be a little more respectful of our fellow citizens and when you guys have people up here, you should always ask the 'why' not like a binary thing - you're supporting Trump, not supporting Trump. Why are you supporting... (hate 75millions of your fellow Americans - interject another hosts)... I agree. The Democrats have done a pretty good job with the 'deplorables hugging on their Bible, their beer and their guns..." I mean, really? Could we just stop that stuff and actually grow up and treat other people with respect and listen to them a little bit and... and I do the economy will affect, I think this this negative talk about MAGA is going to hurt Biden's election campaign...
The Lefties/Demmies are mastera at calling or labeling people that don't agree with them... They are intolerant, bigots, racists, etc etc. Only a Leftie/Demmie will claimed Blacks/Browns don't know how to get ID, tell a Black person he's oppressed and need the white savior, aren't smart enough to use internet and you're an Uncle Tom or not black enough if you don't vote Dems.
