There's something about Asian wanna-be rappers that doesn't sit right with me.

i will just give you one tip/hint
when you go over to 3rd world country
you need to bring different kind of outlet adapter
because they use many different kinds and not standardize here in the US

Is that so?

Some Yang (maybe Lor/Lee?) family won the lotto in NC several years ago. I think they're built a nice house on some land they bought and started a business. Can't remember the specifics.

Some Hmong family won the lottery in one of the cities ending in -ville in MN within the last decade as well. Never heard the specifics on that one.

Truth be told, I'd go into hiding too. I can imagine all the new relatives you suddenly have after winning.
Yes, better be humble and stay quiet.

lotto winners ... that hit the big jackpot?

If so, where are they now, as far as using that money to make a difference in their lives?
And if you know them personally, did their attitude change towards the common people?

I went to a salon to get my hair cut the other day and the beautician said she loves going to Laos to eat mov nplej tshiab.

I told her I wasn't too crazy about that, even if it's new year.

She said that wasn't what she meant. She said she meant mov nplej tshiab. "You know...mos mos ab na," she said.

"Oh, I see. You don't have to go during new year," I said. "Any time of the year is fine."

So, I tell Fancee, go any time. Those fruits are soft and ripe, ready any time of the year.
Thanks, but no thanks!
You're off topic here.

you can get all that at your local groccery store

probably

dec-jan

if you want to get yourself a oversea bride/groom
I want fresh tropical fruits.  My local grocery store carries only the "norm".
And no, I'm not looking to get myself an oversea groom.  Therefore, based on your answer, Dec-Jan is probably not the ideal months to go to Thailand.

to go to Thailand for each of the following tropical fruits:
1.) mangosteens
2.) durians
3.) rambutans
4.) longans
5.) jackfruits
6.) sugar apples
7.) mangoes
8.) passion fruits

Planning a trip in 2020.  Asking for suggestions.

Thanks, Thailand travelers!

According to whom?

My wife is a registered nurse and she makes $60k+++ annually
Thats a lot of money here in Wisconsin
She also makes more than me ( lol, $25k here)

Anyway she and I
We don’t share any banking together or money
I don’t even know how much she has
And afraid to ask
Really?  $60k annually in WI is a lot of money?  Hmmm ... I'm still scraping pennies and picking up aluminum cans.

So, what's the reason why you don't share banking account?
