When you go camping or hunting

So I'm just wondering, what do you say when you are about to eat when you are camping or hunting. The OGs usually say something but I don't know what they are saying. Does anyone have any clue on what is being said? I would love to learn this saying.

Sometimes we just say, I hope that I won't get sick from eating this.   :2funny:

im not sure how to say what they are saying but its to thank the spirits and ancestors for the food and blessings
basically inviting them to come eat with you, but if you dont know what to say its best not to say anything because it may cause problems
