just an FYI
your annually roth ira has a cap of $6,000 from $5,500 last year
start contributing
also
i would start allocating more to bonds
a lot of dark cloud and future up ahead
as this our sweet tax break is winding down
and the people are finally waking up
-
also if you are 50+ years old
you have a $1,000 catch up bonus in additional to the $6,000 for this new year
for a total of $7,000 to the roth ira
-

Why worry about being "scared" and/or wait "30 more years" when you can just win the lotto now since you're "the hmong Nostradamus and is always right"?? ???

And I'm pondering why you do all that work just to be a "small fish" as well as having to wait "30 years" before you can collect when you can just win the lotto and be a big fish now since you're "the hmong Nostradamus and is always right"??
If you're a fake Nostradamus then admit that you're a fraud instead of "trolling"...Otherwise "just shut up"...I mean there's even member that called you out for giving "bad investment advice"...and that could really mess someone up if he/she actually listen to a fake Nostradamus advice... :idiot2: :knuppel2:
And so much for claiming "sports only"...it's as big of an EPIC FAILURE as your other claims.. ;D ;D ;D:
Financial guy, here
They thought I was crazy.
Even bash me
I informed them GE is a good company
Just need better management
To turn things around
It’s getting strong support at the $13 mark
It’s a good time to get in and ride this wave back up
Damnnnn, they going up to
As I predicted
Like I say many times
Nothing good ever comes when you bet against the Hmong Nostradamus

Because that's how investment work duhhhh
too funny
you start investing when you are young and by the time you are old (30-40 years from now)
you are rich and a millionaire
this is an investment thread
stop your trolling
i will fight you on another thread

Doesn't matter "how investment work" since it's common knowledge for many...the *million* dollar question is why don't you just win the lotto and be a big fish now since you're "the hmong Nostradamus and is always right" instead of doing all that work just to be a "small fish" and/or have to wait "30 years" to collect (which is not even "always" guarantee)...?? ???
You can keep on "trolling" but that doesn't substitute you taking ownership of your wrongs..And no, don't care to "fight" but more pondering of why no sign of "Nostradamus" and "always right" as claimed?? ???
-
Dude this thread is hilarious. ;D
Looks like you pissed someone off. :knuppel2:
For everyone, you should do your own investigation and not follow one person's advice on the Internet. If you lost money, take it as a hard lesson learned and move on.
-
Yep, agree, the information is readily available so do your own research and form an educated opinion from it or you may have to call out someone for giving you "bad investment advice" by just following their BS... ;D
-
Yep - live modestly and you'll be fine. If you want to live like a king, move to Laos. ;D
unless you make plentiful and enough to where you can comfortably afford to put money into a IRA or Roth...folks.. .401k and social security is good enough once you retire....just don't have more kids than you can afford to have...haha and don't develope bad habits when you retire...lols

The 401k is good only if they match
If they match 6% than you do 6%
And put the rest in the ROTH
The fee in the 401k are a killer
That’s why I recommend ROTH
Social security might not be there in 30-40 years
If you google the statistics

I just deposited the max $5.5k for 2018 so I can get the tax break. Debating if I should contribute the max $6k as well for 2019 right now as well since the market is in red. I got like 30+ years left before I can cash in anyways. lol

"time in the market, beats timing the market"
that's the old saying, alot of us investor use. as long as you put it on the S&P 500
you should be good in the long run
remember, you can deposit $5.5k and $6k for your spouse, even if they don't work
