The clown was cute but it is actually a giant spider in the end?

I rather fight clown than spider.

Steven king is still a horror champ.  I loved his other titles as well.

I just watched this movie yesterday and although I was not as scared of the production of the overall movie, the thought of the story is scary.  Creepy scenes that moved me a little was when IT was prowling under the flooded basement, the part where IT waved at Richie in the room of clowns, and seeing IT move up and down the well like a spider (the movement is what made it creepy).  "IT" is like an unspecified evil shape-shifting entity that feeds on fear.

I could be reading too much into it but if you analyze some of the scenario in the movie, you will notice where some fears are stemmed from.  For example, the movie portrays Beverly being emotionally and physically abused by her father, creating fear - an opportunity for IT.

Anyways, there will be a sequel.
