My cheating wife stole $50K from me and attacked me when I tried to leave her

As far as I’m concerned, my marriage is over. For the past 10 years or more, my wife has recklessly spent our joint savings and my pension savings, taken out credit cards in my name without my knowledge and put us through bankruptcy. We now have over $50K in debt with nothing left. She has also been having affairs on the side.

I can’t trust a word she says or continue to live like this. Each time, she has begged for forgiveness and promised not to do it anymore — until she does it a week later. We agreed to separate a month ago, but now she realizes there’s not going to be any regular income from me and wants to stay married. When I told her no, she attacked me physically.

I don’t want the police involved. I have a daughter on the spectrum. Although she’s a young adult, she will blame me, and what relationship I have with her will be destroyed. I have been advised to not move out, as that can be seen by the courts as abandoning my property to her.

...counterpart across the isle's " GOP Dysfunction"... ???

Quote
House Democrats Swear They Are Not Enjoying GOP's Dysfunction — Honest!

Democratic staffers on Capitol Hill were recently discussing the state of the House in a group chat when one posted a meme from “The Simpsons” to illustrate the point.

The choice? Two knife-wielding monkeys fighting as onlookers surround them in a circle and cheer them on. The implication was the monkeys were the House Republicans and the bystanders were the Democrats.

While Republicans retain the House majority, the extent of infighting has become glaringly apparent in recent weeks, most notably with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) threatening to call for a vote to oust Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.).

Publicly, Democrats are avoiding giving Republicans what coaches would call “bulletin board material,” a slight or insult around which the GOP could rally, but they also want to project an air of seriousness as an implicit contrast to Republicans’ ineptitude.

House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) smiled for just a second when asked Wednesday if Democrats are enjoying Republicans’ misfortune. Then he launched into a very measured and dull answer.

“We’re going to continue to keep the focus on getting results for the American people and delivering real results on their behalf,” Jeffries said.

Aside from the ongoing will-she-or-won’t-she ouster saga with Greene, Republican disunity has shown up in many other ways, such as Johnson allowing Democrats to carry all or much of the responsibility for passing things, including an annual spending deal, renewal of a controversial spying law and the $61 billion Ukraine aid deal.

General Discussion / New Bible vs Standard Bible

There's a rumor spreading around Republican party that Donald Trump created his own bible causing the stir. I wasn't sure if he actually did or he hadn't done so.
There's a Pastor, Loran livingston, in Charleston North Carolina speaking out against those false believers from mixing politic and religion into one.

I agree with his assessments. Politic and religion shouldn't mix. The two will collide one another and cause division.

I went back in this dream, to my teens. I had a rooster at the time, and I loved him dearly. His feathers were all black, not a single spot of white or any other color. The unique thing about his feathers was they emit such a strong sheen of green, even in the shade. His plummage too was unique. His tail sickles curls inward and they were long. One day, I notice he wasn't crowing. I don't know if he was sick or not, but he was just roosting and looked normal. Something in me said he needs a hen, thats all. We lived in the city at the time, and technically we weren't suppose to have any chickens, let alone a rooster in the city limits. But our neighbors didn't seem to mind the crowings. Well, I call a uncle if I can get a hen for him. He said, he had the perfect one, all black hen, yellow feet, eyes and even beak. He insisted he brings her over because he wanted to see the rooster too. (I kept it hidden away from most people) and my uncle wanted at least two of his sons from the breeding. lols

I raised this rooster til his last breath. He lived up to about 9 years old. Before his last breath, he attempted to crow. He did, but it was very weak. I pluck two feathers from his body to keep, and buried him the next morning.

In this dream, I revisited the good times. I was no more than 16. I had some ground beef, some feed mixed with milk and other goodies. The rooster wasn't crowing, but.......sing ing....... :-X and this was the song he sang.....

If  my wife had an opposite-sex friend, I don't need to see them on dates.

If they are going to cheat, they are going to cheat. whether they have opposite sex friends or not. You expect them to know the consequence and that you will find out one way or another eventually. The punishment is, death by beheading...lo ls jk Instant divorce, no if buts, or whys...lols

Marriage & Family Life / Re: The type of man that will make a good husband

Many marriages has last the test of time by being and living simple. Simple jobs, careers, okay house, okay cars, enough to survive, a little to save up. This is how the older generations view a marriage. It's about the simple things, the memories, time spent together. Going through the hard times together..this is the backbone that keeps them together. It is what keep them together.

Today's marriages is mostly base on assets, materilistic stuffs. Trying to impress others, competing with others. In other words, it's very business like. What can I do for you and what can you do for me type of thing. This is what is killing marriage. It's lost its true meaning.

A good partner wants nothing but to be love and to love in return. They give their love to the one they feel most deserving and connected to without anything else but feelings from within, not to the one they can get the most in return. LIke all business contracts, the odds of someone breaching the contract is very likely, and very high...and its proven time and time again, with the divorce rate we see today......
