I think anytime you're in a neighborhood where many homes have burglar bars on doors and windows, the chance of becoming a victim is just higher. This photo taken of the home where Xy was shot at kind of remind me of the homes in my old neighborhood in Richmond, CA:

..football life is likely done too??  ???:

Bo Jackson and Tua Tagovailoa suffered the same injury. Unfortunately, one wasn’t a pro.

In the immediate aftermath of a visually gut-wrenching injury suffered Saturday by Alabama star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, a comparison was made to how all-around great athlete Bo Jackson’s football career ended: a similar tackle that resulted in a similarly dislocated hip.

Then, a few doctors weighed in and pointed out that it was ultimately a lack of blood flow to Jackson’s injury that damaged his hip so severely that he could no longer electrify a football field. Tagovailoa’s dislocated hip was treated before avascular necrosis, the death of bone tissue because of a lack of blood supply, set in.

But it wasn’t that comparison between the two players that was most important from a broader perspective. Instead, it was a contrast between the two that should have been pointed out.

Tagovailoa suffered his hip dislocation, for which he will undergo surgery Monday, as a college football player. Jackson suffered his hip dislocation, which required surgery, in the NFL.

...took ownership of her wrong and move forward instead of just repeating that EPIC FAIL cycle  ;D:

Amber Liu apologized for a "snap judgement" reaction she had about the recent viral video of a police officer confronting and detaining a black man who was eating a sandwich on a train platform.

Amber Liu sided with the officer when she was asked about the situation. Amber says the man "deserved it," and she then adds, "You don't have to act like that toward a police officer…Know your rights, but show some type of respect."

Amber's comments caused backlash from fans who saw the situation as another example of racism and police discrimination in the U.S. On November 17, Amber tweeted an apology about her previous words. "I am so sorry. I saw a video clip, made an ignorant, snap judgement, and I majorly messed up. "I 100% do not stand for racism and discrimination . It angers me that he was singled out because of the color of his skin. It is completely unjust and I am so sorry for not seeing the whole situation and jumping to a conclusion."

She closed her note with support for Black Lives Matter, writing, "I'm so sorry I've negatively affected so many people because of my ignorance and I will continue to educate myself in the matter."

Me: So, how was your highschool like?

NOT surprised those girls shut you out because using "how was" instead of *what was* your highschool like, didn't make much sense grammatically in that context..
