Why would someone be so concern about the 2nd amendment being change to make it safer? Unless the person is a undocumented criminal or documented criminal, involved in criminal activities, abusive, mentally challenge/mentally unstable and a NRA lobbyist ;D

it practically makes every law abiding gun owners/citizens a criminal (literally, over night). when you amend or take away the 2nd amendment, people's right to freedom of speech will also be infringed upon. when you mess with one, you have to change/amend every other laws to coincide.
there are way too many gun laws already in placed and still doesn't help to deter or stop mass shootings and/or violent crimes...sh!t is going to happen and when it does, i would want a force multiplier as a defensive tool. take the UK/London for example, if we're going to follow suit...they've banned guns, they have way more serious crimes than NY (up to date, death toll surpassing nyc's), now they're going to ban knives...befor e you know it, they'll be banning just about anything.

I support the 2nd amendment but there's got to be screening regulation put in place to protect the people and also types of fire arms. We don't have that today...people only focusing on the "right" but they forgot the consequences that attached to that right. $$ is a huge factor and sometime people are using the 2nd amendment for that as well.

have you tried buying a gun? often times, one would need to complete a gun course, get a purchase permit from the local sheriff, pass their background check, pass the NICS system (a federal (FBI) background check system) at the ffl dealer and may still have to wait through the waiting period...last but not least, you may even get denied by discretion from the ffl dealer. it isn't as easy as going into a gun store choose a gun, pay and walk out. The NICS is already strict enough that not everyone who wants a gun can't have. it is already an infringement on the people's right, but the government has it in place to weed out criminals and others who are not allowed to own guns like minors.
you mentioned types of firearms, there is no difference in the action of every gun and it's purpose. we've already banned fully automatic weapons, assault weapons and "weapons of mass destruction," in the hands of civilians. An AR15 (for those idiots, AR does not stand for ASSAULT RIFLE) to a AK or to a handgun, it functions to a single pull of the trigger...if you ban one, all will be banned...then we'll just have mass stabbings like london.

no one is going all patriotic on you, i'm just trying to make you understand the concept...but of course you can't get pass on what seems to be a 'run-on sentence' so nothing makes sense to you. FYI, it is not a run-on sentences, it's a statement, it is perfectly capitalized, punctuated and perioded.

Same old fraud...Nothin g new from the "fat 40 virgin" (his word to describe himself, not mine) that still lives in mom's "basement"...No wonder he got all defensive when another PH member pointed out his basic decimal failure...And he claimed he used to work in "accounting"...What a failure! ;D
