I stopped buying HP; not even the printers.  Bought a new printer two years ago and now I can't even find the right ink cartridge for it.

Next project. No worry of heat. Use a home fan to cool it during the summer season. Just need to mount it on the wall.

Intel motherboard???  I recall the heatsink unique shape and color and passive chipset cooler.

Have had two HP laptops and the problem always came down to overheating and battery issues. The one Samsung I had did not overheat, but had battery issues. I think that's just a laptop thing. Thats why I got a desktop a couple years back, but then I started missing the portability of a laptop so am now in the market for one again. But nothing seems to satisfy me! Except maybe the new 15.4" mac, but that thing will cost me my limbs.   :(

HP laptops are fine if you buy the right one.  I only buy their Elitebook line.  If you buy any of the other lines, you're destined for problems.

For laptops, the only ones I buy are the HP Elitebooks and Lenovo Thinkpads.
