I stopped buying HP; not even the printers.  Bought a new printer two years ago and now I can't even find the right ink cartridge for it.

Next project. No worry of heat. Use a home fan to cool it during the summer season. Just need to mount it on the wall.

Intel motherboard???  I recall the heatsink unique shape and color and passive chipset cooler.

Have had two HP laptops and the problem always came down to overheating and battery issues. The one Samsung I had did not overheat, but had battery issues. I think that's just a laptop thing. Thats why I got a desktop a couple years back, but then I started missing the portability of a laptop so am now in the market for one again. But nothing seems to satisfy me! Except maybe the new 15.4" mac, but that thing will cost me my limbs.

HP laptops are fine if you buy the right one.  I only buy their Elitebook line.  If you buy any of the other lines, you're destined for problems.

For laptops, the only ones I buy are the HP Elitebooks and Lenovo Thinkpads.
