txiv tuam pem and cuab tsav are the same.....this person, usually a very close related younger brother of the dead, will the soul guardian of the dead's kids if they are not old enough to look after themsvles yet or if there is no "new father" to marry the widow.  however, his function at the funeral is to "laig" the older brother.
