As far as snow goes, so far we have been pretty lucky. I could remember back in the early 90's and when it snow, it snow. Now it is just the cold but that is expected.

talking about weather......h ere's big arse snow drift across the road in my town. this drift was probably 5-6 feet deep. I don't even know how wide it is. ain't no truck is getting through there.

I've had ciscos only once. So, I can't tell the difference. They kind of look alike though.
I've never had those bitter fishes before so I can't compare. Besides, with these fishes, we just smoke it.

I'm hating winter badly. Can't wait to be sitting in a kayak at the lake, nothing but the birds chirping and your fishing line zzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzz with a catch on the other end. like this guy here.

Are you crazy? lol I usually just fillet them and battered it to fry or steamed it with lots of herbs. I like bass because they don't have a lot of bones.. only the big bones. The meat is tender and soft.

It's snowing again just now here.
Anyway, I went to his lake two hours south. There's a Hmong community in that city. But they kept releasing the bass. So, I've caught big ones there. I go there every spring to bring home a few. There's plenty in that lake. Live leeches and live crawlers...rea l good baits for them.
I don't know.....these largemouth bass that I fish, has a strange smell too it. plus, the lake that I fish doesn't look like a good lake...idk. I just catch and release. just for fun. maybe next time you cook a fish, any fish......show me a picture.

I have two places that I want to go this year once this snow melt. So much outdoor activities planned already... :D As much as I love the winter and its' activities I'm ready for Spring!

Possibly camping trip in SD and there's a lake/dam that I want to go fishing this summer. Heard it's a nice area. We do have a family camping trip this summer in July to go to Bear Head State Park.

Open water fishing is the only thing I like about springs and summers. I don't camp, bike or hike.
What I look forward to spring and summer is the outdoor activities such as camping, open water fishing, hiking, and biking. O0

I'm not that much of an ice fishing fan. Last time I did ice fishing was 8 years ago up north for some ciscos. Never did it before that and probbly won't be doing it for a long time to come.
I love springs and summers more.
This spring I'll head down south for some 10" crappies and also white bass and big cats for sure.
So, we got some snow sprinkles this morning. They say it'll go on for a few more hours. Hate shoveling.
Nope, I would not recommend it. As much as a ice fishing fanatic I'm not risking my life for some fishes. ;D It's terrible. Not safe at all.
Not sure where you are located but it's not snowing here yet but prediction for a few inches today. Glad I'm not doing anything outside. Have a cooking class later and that's about it.

I don't know where everyone is from but its been a crazy roller coaster ride for us. Its been raining like crazy for us. We'll get a day or two of sun and than it'll rain for 3-4 days straight :P Also, its suppose to be in the 50s Friday and Saturday and low 70s by Sunday with rain :P >:(

we're forecast for a flash flood tomorrow into tomorrow night......a couple feet plus of snow plus the pending rain on the roof makes me sleepless in southwest Minnesota. I'm actually thinking about taking tomorrow off just so that I can babysit the house. oh, well. stay dry friends.

This was back in July of last year. Overnight I would say. I’m pretty sure there’ll be a pond after all the snow melts this spring.

dang roads.......so, I commute about 32 miles one way to work. this morning, a patch of about 30-40 yard of ice, sludge, water, and crap. I hit it....and into the ditch my pilot went. there goes $100 bucks or so to get it pull out. the rest of the commute was fine. just that little part. dang it!!
