If we had to choose/select, how would you select?
A pile of Cash or Supportive Spouse?
A King in a War-Torn Civil War or A Farmer with a Loving Family living in peaceful time?
God of the Desolated Universe or Servant?
These are some thought experiments. Why if you care to share.

A King in a War-Torn Civil War or A Farmer with a Loving Family living in peaceful time?- King in a War Torn Civil War -eventually will be peaceful because nothing stays the same.
God of the Desolated Universe or Servant?God of the Desolated Universe-Since I'm a God I can create something beautiful :D :D

A pile of Cash or Supportive Spouse? uhh.. Hmong men have been giving up the pile of cash for a spouse since before I was born.
A King in a War-Torn Civil War or A Farmer with a Loving Family living in peaceful time? I'd choose to be the king. Negotiate peace rule the loving farmers
God of the Desolated Universe or Servant? Gods live forever, right?

Personally, years ago would have chosen a pile of cash, to be king, and to be the god. Today my supportive spouse, my little happy family on a farm, and serving them and those around me is sufficient.
Everything seems lonely like a pile of cash, king, and god.
