there are active manage target date fund (fee is a little higher cuz it's active)
and index target date fund (passive so less fee)
them fee will add up over time, espcially 30-40 years...
you talking about $100-300k in fee and money you could have make ( .75% whatever)

VFIAX has a $3,000 Minimum entry point
$3,000 is really hard for some who are just starting out
plus its just track the S&P 500
doesn't do bond and international
you better off just investing NOW and with whatever you got
$SPY something similiar that don't weight you down
you can buy fraction share at ROBINHOOD now O0

Places like E-Trade don't have "inside information"..
