Abilene woman arrested for sex trafficking her daughter

An Abilene woman was arrested Friday for allegedly accepting money from men to have sex with her daughter, according to a court document.

Ashley Dale Franklin was arrested on a second-degree felony charge of trafficking person and taken to Taylor County Jail. Her bond was set at $150,000, according to jail records.

The Abilene Police Department began an investigation after being contacted by federal authorities regarding a child pornography case, the document said, with the victim making an outcry of abuse.

When the victim lived with her mother for about three years starting about Jan. 1, 2015, men would have multiple sexual acts with the child, the document said. The victim did not know the names of the men.

During the sexual assaults, the mother "would be present and supervise," the document said.

The men would pay the victim's mother, who used the money to buy drugs, the document said.

The victim was assaulted about every other day for a period of more than 30 days.

Investigators also interviewed two younger children under Franklin's care at that time. They corroborated the victim's statements about drug use and multiple men in the house, the document said.

During a polygraph exam, Franklin "showed deception when she denied these events occurred," the document said.

Larsa Pippen Spotted with Michael Jordan's Son Marcus for Lunch Date in Miami

The Real Housewives of Miami star, 48, who is the ex-wife of Michael's former Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen, sat next to Marcus, 31, while dining Sunday afternoon at Zuma, a Japanese restaurant in Miami, according to TMZ.

Larsa and Marcus sat across the table from another couple for about 45 minutes, the outlet reported. When others nearby began to notice their presence, Larsa "got a little skittish," TMZ reported.

As recently as last month, Larsa said she was looking for love since finalizing her divorce from the former NBA star last December, but it's been a tall order.

Larsa Pippen Admits It's 'Hard' to Date Because She Compares New Partners to Ex Scottie

In a conversation on Melissa Gorga's On Display podcast in August, Larsa gave an update on her dating life — and where she stands with her ex.

"I feel like I am kind of mentally in a place of, like, I was married to a really famous guy that was really cute, that had a good body that was really successful that gave me four gorgeous kids," she said. "So, where the hell are you gonna find a guy that can like, fill in — it doesn't have to be all of those, but like, a few of those boxes."

She added, "It's kind of hard. I thought it was going to be easier, to be honest with you."

Marcus is Michael's middle child with ex-wife Juanita. The couple, who were married for 17 years before filing for divorce in late 2006, also share Jeffrey, 33, and Jasmine, 29.

The reclusive owner of OnlyFans rakes in more than $500 million from the adult website in less than 2 years, report says

OnlyFans owner Leonid Radvinsky took dividends of $517 million in two years, Bloomberg reported.

The adult content plaform's viewers jumped by 128% and the number of creators rose by a third.

Revenues soared from $358m to $932m last year, according to the annual report seen by Bloomberg.

The owner of OnlyFans has been paid more than $500 million since 2020, Bloomberg reported.

The Ukrainian-American businessman Leonid Radvinsky received dividends amounting to $284m in 2021 and $233m after November 2021, the company stated in its annual report, which was seen by Bloomberg.

The adult entertainment site enjoyed a boom in its user base last year, with two million content creators raking in almost $4bn in 2021, per the report. It also features non-adult content from celebrities such as rapper Cardi B and DJ Khalid for paying fans.

The number of content viewers jumped by 128% year-on-year, while the number of content creators rose by 34%.

The platform, which takes a 20% commission fee from creators, more than doubled its revenue from $358m in 2020 to $932m in 2021, Bloomberg reported.

Pre-tax profits also soared from $61m in 2020 to $433m in 2021 as users flocked to the platform during the pandemic.

"We are empowering creators to monetize their content and have real control over it," Amrapali Gan, chief executive of OnlyFans, told the BBC.

Gan, who had been at the company since 2020, took over as CEO in December 2021 after Tim Stokely stepped down.

The London-based company was founded in 2016 by Stokely before he sold a 75% stake to Radvinsky, 40, two years later.

The Florida-based business figure keeps a low public profile but has run porn websites for more than two decades through his company Cybertania, the Daily Telegraph has reported.

In August last year the platform announced it would ban sexually explicit content but reversed the decision six days later following an outcry from creators.

The company laid off an unspecified number of employees last month to "reshape certain teams", it told Insider in a statement.

OnlyFans did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment about the results.

3 men convicted of killing Ahmaud Arbery moved to one of the largest state prisons in Georgia

The 3 men convicted of killing Ahmaud Arbery in February 2020 as he jogged on a Brunswick street were transported to a state prison in Butts County.

According to records from the Georgia Department of Corrections, Travis McMichael, Gregory McMichael, and William “Roddie” Bryan were transported to the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison on August 23. The prison houses offenders who are listed as “Under Death Sentence,” also known as offenders on death row.

The prison, which houses over 2,000 inmates, also houses the state’s execution chamber.

It is also the state’s diagnostic and classification prison for male inmates. Prisoners entering the prison system go there for assessment, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections.

The three men also have new mugshots, which shows a different appearance from how the three looked during the 2021 trial.

...are probably gone given the time frame. He's a big fan of self service auto salvage yards. He also owns a Taco and knows that Tacos especially gen 2 or newer are super rare to find at a self service salvage yard, hence the the unicorn reference even though its the most popular mid-size truck around. So I went with him since I was spending time with him anyways and yep, pretty much stripped down to the bone as I've predicted by the time we got there. However, he was still able to wrench some on that Taco and it made his day  O0:

'Banking while Black': Woman wins casino jackpot, but Michigan bank won't cash check

At 71, Lizzie Pugh thought the days of Jim Crow and getting bullied for being the only Black kid in school in 1960s Alabama were far behind her – until she wound up in a bank with a fat check in her hand.

The Detroit public schools retiree had won a five-figure slot machine jackpot during a church outing at a casino, and went to the bank to deposit it.

But three white bank employees told her the check was fraudulent, Pugh said, and refused to give it back to her.

"I couldn’t really believe they did that to me," Pugh said in a recent interview. "I was devastated. I kept asking, 'How do you know the check is not real?' ... And they just insisted that it was fraudulent ... I was just terrified."

Pugh still gets emotional when she talks about that April day, only now she is armed with a federal lawsuit that she hopes will shed light on what she alleges was blatant racism by employees at Fifth Third Bank in Livonia, Michigan. Pugh's check was good: She got it back after much persistence that day, drove to a nearby Chase bank and deposited it there.

.."To think that maybe they would have police coming and running at me – it was humiliating and stressful," Pugh said. "For someone to just accuse you of stealing? I’m 71 years old. Why would I steal a check and try to cash it? I just didn’t think anybody would do that."

Fifth Third Bank did not respond to several efforts by the Free Press to obtain a comment.

Employee No. 1: This check is 'fraudulent'

According to the lawsuit, this is what landed Pugh – an Alabama native and church deacon who worked for the Detroit public schools for 36 years .....

,,,The employee asked Pugh where she worked, and requested her driver's license.

Pugh obliged, explained that she was retired, and that the check was for money she had won at the casino. The check contained the casino's logo and address, Pugh's name and the same home address listed on her driver's license.

On the memo line it read: "SLOT JACKPOT"

"She left the room. She came back and she told me that the check was fraudulent, and she could not give it back to me," recalled Pugh, who protested. "I’m like, 'Why? It's not fraudulent.' "

The employee called in a second bank employee.

'I told them I wasn't leaving'

Employee No. 2 proved equally problematic. She also "insisted" that the check was fraudulent, and wouldn't return it.

By then, Pugh's nerves were rattling and her anger was building. She called her son, who urged her to call the casino for help. She told him, "I'm not leaving without the check."

And then she told the bank employees the same thing.

"I told them I wasn't leaving. You need to call the police. Or better yet, I'll call myself," recalled Pugh.

But the two bank employees – both of them white – refused to call 911 and summoned a third bank employee.

Employee No. 3: You can't have your check back

The two bank employees took Pugh's check to the office of a third bank worker. After several minutes, Pugh went into that employee's office and asked for her check back.

Again, she was told the same story: The check was no good, and Fifth Third Bank would not allow her to open an account and deposit the check.

Pugh persisted. She would not leave without the check. And eventually, the bank gave it back to her. She successfully deposited it at another bank, where the check cleared the next day.

"I was really, really nervous," Pugh recalled of those first few moments back in her car in the bank parking lot. "I had to sit there for a minute. I took a picture of the bank. I had no idea what the address was or anything like that. And then I left."

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen Are Reportedly in an "Epic Fight" and She's Left the Family Compound

Some celebrity relationship drama is making its way around the Internet: Page Six is out here reporting that Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are in the middle of an "epic fight" about his decision to "un-retire" from the NFL, and they're reporting that she's left the family compound in Tampa for a trip to Costa Rica.

“Tom and Gisele are in a fight right now,” one source told the outfit, while another added “There’s been trouble in the marriage over his decision to un-retire. Gisele has always been the one with the kids. They had agreed he would retire to focus on the family, then he changed his mind.” Meanwhile, a third anon source claimed the couple have a "fiery relationship" and that "Gisele is a bit hot-headed."

One of Page Six's fleet of sources also notes that after Tom un-retired, Gisele also went back to work. “It’s almost like Gisele was like, ‘Well, if you’re going to keep playing, so will I," the source said. "She’s resentful that Tom is still the football superstar.”
