Title: Gift Suggestions for hunters
Post by: luvlylisa on November 19, 2015, 04:57:24 PM
So our friends have our annual secret santa exchange and I got someone who loves the outdoors and hunting.  I would like to stay within $30-$60.  What do you think would be something nice or a few nice things I should get or consider?  Thanks in advance!

Thanks FD.  I was thinking about a backpack too...or a bag of some sort.  Just wasn't sure as I'm no hunter and don't know what hunters would prefer or like.

You can't go wrong with a bag.  A bag to men is a must.  We do not carry purses but in terms of bags, we got them plenty for multi usage.

Buy something that will be of use to them otherwise, it will sit in the garage and I will have no choice but to re-wrap it and give it as a gift to someone else.  Now imagine that.  Your gift gets bounce around like a cheap hooker.  :2funny:

Friends got me a jacket and an outdoor insulation turtle neck. Very helpful in the winter hunts. I've been using them every year for at least three years now.

You can find these things at Cabela's, Joe's Sporting Goods (St. Paul, MN), Ganger Mountain everywhere, or Mills Fleet Farms in your town--wherever that is. lol Don't go to Walmart. There's no quality there for sporting goods except fishing lures.

Thanks ya'll....I'll see what I come up with.  I may lean towards a nice bag....I might have to ask the brothers what's all in his "collection"...or the wife.  But I know the wife will frown on me getting him stuff....howev er, he's a good friend so I'd rather get him something the wife wouldn't.  LOL Maybe something for his boys and him to eventually share when they get bigger to hunt with him.
