Sadly in the Hmong society with a traditional sense, Hmong women don't really have much of a say in the matter as married men can have mistresses openly and even married them as second, third, ...wife...sad but true.

Fortunately, we live in this great country where women can have equal rights and voice...

Women always had the choice but they stayed because they needed a man to perform heavy work and be a provider for the children. If it was that much easier to remarry to a good man, women would be leaving their deadbeat husbands in droves. But the fact that good men are not likely to marry a divorced woman with 6 children in tow is a major reason why wives stay. No point in trading one deadbeat for another.

But they've always had the choice. They could be divorced and single. They could clear their own fields for farming. They could learn to hunt. They could learn to defend themselves. But Hmong women clearly didn't want to.

Did I not say that I support their right to defend themselves? That's not even the point, idiot. I'm saying that decades of isolation leave these people simply savage. They haven't flourished at all. And don't give me that "well maybe they prefer it that way" - crap. What else would they prefer if they don't have options? They aren't Amish people who are surrounded by all sorts of communities but choose to live an austere life.

In no way am I saying that they don't have a right to defend their island. What I am saying is that they are a good representation of how ancient tribal people must've been.

The world was not a friendly place. The people were not friendly. ----> This is what liberals are defending.

They are delusional if they think it was peaceful.

Funny thing is they want to protect this way of life for tribal people but they simply cannot let Conservatives be conservative.

Freedom of Speech exists solely for the purpose of protecting what some deem as hate speech.

Hate speech is subjective, depending on who is feeling offended.

I disagree with your implications about Free Speech.

Yes, at one time groups like LGBTQ, blacks, and other minorities were perceived as marginalized groups so it was important to uphold free speech for all. However, the times have changed y'all. This is the 21st century. If you still feel like a victim then it's your own twisted perception. Nobody is stopping you but you - which is a topic I'll post at some other time.

Unlike many leftist minorities, I refuse to hold victim status for life. For one thing, if our card in life is to be a forever victim then why fight at all?

When you tell someone or a group that they are always the victim then there is no incentive to even fight because you've already told them that their status will never change. There is no reason for them to do better.
