Declining birth rates
« on: August 22, 2024, 05:01:04 PM »
Lately, I've been listening to a lot of opinions on this. Countries like Japan and South Korea are facing a huge deficit in human capital, which will negatively impact their economy as well as the existing people there. The US has also seen a decrease in birth rate. Many blame it on the high cost of childcare, but why aren't we addressing the real issue?

First of all, I disagree with conservatives on the issue of childcare. The solution isn't to subsidize childcare. Childcare is horrible. It is not a place for any children. A child should be raised in it's own home by it's own biological parent. This is the safest environment for children. I understand that not everybody is in the circumstances to do that so let's discuss why and how we can help people get there without subsidizing them.

The real issue is that men and women no longer know how to get along. Why have a baby when you're unsure if the baby daddy is going to stick around? People struggle to even find someone who they would want to marry, let alone have a baby with them. The problem really lies in how boys and girls are being raised. No wonder they're confused and don't know how to work together anymore. If men and women can't work together in harmony, why would they want to have children together? Many of the ones who do have kids treat it like an accident, in which one person doesn't even want to stick around.

Humans are only animals. Apparently many humans today operate on impulse, and when act on impulse, they act of primal or biological flaws. And this often result in lifelong regrets. We see it with many people today. It's quite sad but at the same time, its like...It's survival of the fittest. haha

Some couples are lucky to have grandparents who can help babysit. But nowadays, the grandparents have their own drama.

Grandmas and grandpas wanna rock'n roll, too.

What's life without that these days.
