Regarding these asian hate crimes. The majority were committed by blacks. Biden supports BLM who will riot for the same mfers who attacked Asians.

Happened last month. Both Hmong and American wedding.  DON'T EVER DO 2 WEDDINGS BACK TO BACK. ARRGG! Turned out great. Had well over 500 guests ;D ;D ;D I guess it doesn't feel so bad married at age 38. Been with my wife for 9 yrs before it all happened. She's like 9 yrs younger than me.  Personally, I was never in a rush to get married. I have to say, I am glad that I waited. Did everything I wanted to. Lived together for like 7 yrs and got to know each other really well.

btw, the wife is also a member of PH;D ;D A Ph'er from MN came down for my wedding too. Thanks a lot man. You know who you are.

Quick cell phone pics.. haven't had time to look through my DSLR's for the photos yet. Yeah, gained some weight over the years.   :2funny: :2funny:

Just put together this AR pistol 300 aac blackout.. hahaha The wife got her own guns too. :D

Work Avenue / I've never quit a job before and ...

Not as easy as I thought it would be. After 14 yrs with my current employer, I am parting ways. Handing in my letter of resignation today. Excited and sad at the same time.

So my new boss is being a douchebag to my co-workers. Just talks to them like kids. He hasn't been a douchebag to me (yet), but I'm pretty upset. My new boss always preach about having a good vibe at work, respect, etc... Next time there is a meeting/training about the subject, I'm gonna ask, "How can we even begin to become an example for others to follow when my own boss can't even become an example for me to follow?". The room will be filled with other bosses/employees. Yes, my boss will be in there too.  If my boss is doing the preaching, I'm gonna ask him that very question in front of my co-workers.

A very brutal, but honest question I'm going to ask the instructor/my boss. Anyone in here a boss? Don't be a douchebag because there will be people like me who will embarrass you in front of others and you can't fire me either. :D

Sold my 2002 R1 like 3 years ago. Decided to pick up a 2006 GSXR 750. The R1 looks better, but the 750 is a lot more fun and just as powerful. This photo was taken last October. Gonna grab some new boots and helmet and break the knee pucks' virginity sometime this summer. Will try to :D

Outdoors & Recreational Hobbies / hmong people and trespassing..

I am sure you guys read about that hmong OG who got jumped by some white people for crossing into private land. While i do not agree with the beating, the OG should've never stepped foot into private land in the first place. OG's are stubborn and they don't obey laws/rules like most of us younger generations.  A few posters who posted on FB said something about the OG intentionally crossing into private land in the first place. Don't give me that BS excuse , "Didn't see the sign or can't read..." OG's are stubborn..

The beating was wrong, but intentionally crossing into private land was wrong and the OG deserved it.. Lesson learned.  :idiot2: :idiot2:

edit: if the og accidentally went into private land and goy jumped then the whites need to get lock up otherwise grab a bunch of people and you know the rest... :police: >:D

Arts & Photography / Are some photographers really that shady?
« on: June 16, 2014, 09:04:16 PM »
I visit a few photography forums and is also part of the hmong photographers group on FB. I realized that when  newbies come in and see other photographers work and asked how the look was achieved, the photographers/people who posted the images would completely ignore the newbies, but respond to others. Seen it quite a few times and i'm starting to think those photographers are shady and afraid of others surpassing them.

We all learned from someone else, so why so shady? Most questions  asked are related to photoshop and many are just so silent about their post process steps. I would always purposely throw a tutorial in the author's thread exactly how his/her post process was done to achieve his final look. I bet this pisses them off..  :2funny:

when i see stuff like this, i always think to myself like, "whatever.. your post processing steps aren't a secret. I'll spilled your steps right in your own thread."  :2funny: A MOD actually deleted a few of my replies. the MOD PM'ed me and said, "You should respect the original poster if he/she doesn't want to reveal his/her secrets to others. You shouldn't spilled his/her secrets.." LOL!

some are so shady that if others asked what equipments they have/used, they will not say a word... :2funny:

Arts & Photography / bought a new D7100.
« on: January 06, 2014, 05:06:35 PM »

the one on the right with sigma 70-200mm F/2.8 HSM OS. The left is the D5100 w/nikon 50mm/f1.8.  The D7100 seems like the best bang ($1100 for body only) for the buck with all/most pro features in a cropped sensor. Don't care much for full frame and having the extra reach is important to me :).Took around 300+ pics so far and it's awesome with 51 focus points. With the sigma lens, it matches my GF's brother's 5Dmark II's focus speed.

The D5100 will be for the GF to shoot. I could tell she gets bored when she's just watching me shoot. :D

Arts & Photography / So i just ordered this lens..
« on: June 25, 2013, 06:04:38 PM »
sigma 70-200  f/2.8 OS for my nikon D5100. Newest version. $1300. Can't wait to get it.

I'm no pro or anything. Just need a good glass for those low light shots such as early bass fishing. A picture of the bass splashing after getting hooked will be ducking awesome.. i have a decent 55-200mm F/3.5-5.6, but too slow in low light. Will do fine with a lot of light, but by then, fish won't be hitting as often anymore.

This lens could be an all around lens too esp. for portraits. I wanted a used nikon version VRI, but hate used electronics and it cost the same. Wanted the VRII version, but $2200 for it isn't worth it.

why like this? i'm no pro, but doesn't this look so washed up and the color/tone, and contrast is so off.  Just me, but i would never pay a photographer to take pictures of me like this.. The subject/framing is good, but everything else seems off..

maybe some of you more experienced photographer can fill me on this..just curious.

their portrait photos. The skin/face would look super smooth and pretty much like a blur.. Just doesn't look right to me.  ???

Arts & Photography / so.. just got myself a Nikon D5100.
« on: February 17, 2013, 12:52:45 AM »
Didn't want anything too expensive since I'm probably not going to be all serious about photography anyway... $499 from Walmart.  O0 Steal deal, I think.

Samples using auto setting indoor with florescent lighting @ night. Quality turned out better than expected..

The GF..
