Good reviews and cheap to try. Not sure about the reliability but if you oil and grease it, it would last you a long time. Mine is 5 years old and no oil needed and it is starting to rattle and making weird noises right now hence why I'm already looking for a replacement. Can't go wrong with these folks. Shimano over $100? I'll break these in 2 years so a no for me and I get it, quality vs pricing and you get what you payed for. It doesn't mean you will out fish me though. :2funny:

But my $25 Shimano Coriolis still works better than my $35 Shakespeare Dimension. And they both around 20 yrs old. Because that cheap Shimino worked so well, I bought into the more expensive one afterwards and it worked even better.

If only everyone shared your thrifty belief, the economy would stop cuz no one would continue to buy and to support the economy. They buy once and it lasted forever more for them.
Then there goes guys like myself. If it cost $100 bux for 1 that lasted 4 years, I'll buy 4 at $25 a piece that can last me 1 year. Still 4 years and $100 out but I get things new at the ratio of 4x instead of 1.
Reason why I do not have nice things. I just don't know how to take care of them and if you take care of them, you get ridicule. Like they make case covering sleeve for baitcast reel. I'm like come on.

Anyway I buy the clearance stuff if the price is knocked down like 40-50% off when I'm looking for new gear. Sometimes it's clearance junk. Sometimes it's clearance or price right gear.
